Re: Broken raider
i think i know whats wrong with it when it was cocked you opened it up then if you took something out then put it back in it wont shoot and it needs to shoot to be coked so i would suggest opening up again and take it of the cocked posision

Re: Broken raider
to "cock" a gun is to prime it for firing. Cocking the Raider is pulling the grip back and pushing it forward to the firing position. Just be careful that the spring doesn't jump out at you when you take it apart if it is cocked. Alternatively if you put the spring back on wrong it might affect the cocking mechanism. make sure it sits on the tube nicely so it can turn and be removed without effort.
That said, have you tried firing it to see if it's just simply cocked but not loaded? I assume you have, but having friends in the IT industry complain every day about the tally of people they have accrued in a few short hours who's problems were fixed by the rather simple observation of the location of power cord in relation to wall socket, I have a tendency to ask anyway (have you tried turning it on and off again?).

Re: Broken raider
there is a piece which is part of the clip receiver that pushes down a button/bolt and unlocks the gun when you first assemble it.. most likely you havn't lined this up right or something like that.
To me this is a lesson kids.. not everyone should rip open their toy.. and if you do, make sure you have a SOUND understanding of how it works and goes back together..
