Longshot Pump Action bracket

I just dropped the brackets at the sheet metal guy today.

He won't be able to do them till next week.

So I'm looking at next weekend, not this weekend.

Sorry guys, bloody suppliers only do it their way.

FINALLY, I have the bent brackets at my place, as well as all the hardware.

I realize I'm well behind my ETA, and apologize.

I've been working out of town for a couple of weeks, and to be honest, the suppliers have taken their time.

Still got to cut some bolts, make a video and work out a postage method before I list.

But they're coming soon(ish).

Haven't had much time for hobbies lately, I'll get it all together soon(ish), and give you all fair notice.

I know the feeling mate, as I'm in a similar predicament at the moment.

Finally managed to get a bit of time up my sleeve, and it's been raining, so that's kind of put a bit of a hamper on the painting side of things...

I have 30 complete pump action bracket kits sitting in a box in front of me.

I have to do a instructional video, a postage method and work out a final price, and they're on "the bay".

With 5 different suppliers, 2 lots of shipping and a lot of hours messing around, these have been a pain in the arse.

Don't get me wrong, they're a good thing but I can't charge to reflect the amount of drama that is involved with them.

These will not be one of my regular items, they will be occasional limited runs only.

I'm still in mate, looking forward to it. I'll have to grab some more brackets as well, so I'll just hold off until you list the pump-grip.

It's been difficult with suppliers, this one.

Seems like you've got to drop to your knees and blow the bastards, just to get them to do your job and take your money.

They're $39 each, plus postage.

To be viable, they need to be $45, but I'd already (foolishly) made guesses about the price.

Postage will be $13, but you can have 2 sent for that price if you want.

Please don't bitch about it, there's nothing I can do, I always try to price keenly.

If you think its too much, just don't buy them.

I'm not trying to be rude, it's just that these things cost more than you (or I) would expect.

Shipping was a killer, as they were too heavy for Australia post, and had to come by Toll Ipec.

If I was to do more, they would be around $44, which is the price of a new Longshot.

Still a good price imo mate, let me know when they're listed, and I'll grab one for sure. I've got a completely modded and unpainted LS here that I can test-run one on, so I'll do up a review for you when it arrives and I've installed it.

Thanks for making this possible mate, pity about the cost blow-out, but, even at $44, I still think they'd be a worthwhile investment.

Been following this thread for a while (it's the reason I finally registered for the forum as well) & you've definitely got a buyer here. $44 is easily worth the the effort saved of not having to try and figure everything out myself :-)

I think it's a reasonable price considering the cost of materials used, not to mention the initial outlay I would have to spend on tools if I wanted to do it myself.

I did notice I didn't get a mention in the suppliers directory thread, but didn't want to whinge about it.

Glad you liked the video, it was a mission to make it and upload on a wireless connection!

It's a good product which I'm proud of, but was a BIT of a pain in the arse to get together.

All the same, it's done now.
