Stampede gear screw up!! Empty Stampede gear screw up!!

    Post  DCman1314 Wed Oct 05, 2011 10:42 am

Hi, I have just bought a unopened stampede for $10 at a nerf war but when I placed the batteries in them, it didnt work at all it just made a repetitive slight motor noise! So I tried fixing it and I have found the problem!! There seems to be a wrong gear in the stampede!! Thats right I said a wrong gear in a unopened stampede! So can anyone find first gear on the left?

    Regards, DCman1314

    Sounds strange...

Are you sure the batteries you used new/fully charged?

That could make some odd things happen.

Was the box totally unopened, are you sure?

I actually think there has been some shifty business going on mate. The fact that you got it for $10 kind of raises some eyebrows. Do you know of any sign that it would've been tampered with?

    Mate,

That's what I was gently suggesting as well.

Scored brand new at a war for $10 could fall into the "too good to be true" category.

I hope not for this guys sake.

From what I remembered, his blaster when sold was tested, and it was working on the day. I'm not sure what may have happened to it now though.

Hey Night stalker I just already explained that I can't upload on here and its not a rip off siple reason is that its a perfect condition gun with all the peices with it.
And yes I think it might of been tampered with since it had torn screws but I fixed the gun apparently the gear was placed in wrong, it somehow needed to be switched.
