    Stampede Troubles Empty Stampede Troubles

Post  splodman Mon Jan 30, 2012 11:55 am

    Hi all.

A few days ago, whilst happily firing my stampede. it jammed Multiple times. I rectified this by removing a peice of plastic that slides out to block the chamber when the jamming door is open.

However when I go to fire it, the velocity of the rounds has disappeared, with some rounds not even making it out of the barrel!

Another problem is now that the jamming door slides open every time I go to fire, meaning that my stampede can't fire full auto.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Note: due to the complexity of the stampede I am quite reluctant to open it up, and do stuff like stretch the spring, and remove the air restrictor.

Going by your description of the part and the issues it sounds horribly like you removed the dart tooth.
Can you get some pictures so we can help you figure out the issue?

Sorry, I didn't remove the dart tooth (thats the thing that slides up into the barrel?) I removed the spring for the thing that swings around the side over the tooth.

Seems like you have screwed up the dart door, just return the blaster for a new one.

Okay, let's go back to the start.

What mod's did you do to the Stampede?
Can you upload some photo's of the internals?

Stampede's are pretty easy to mod, definitely nowhere near the amount of parts as some other blaster's. Removing the AR is very simple, and pretty much the first mod you should do. Stretching the spring is a waste of time, there's plenty of different after-market springs you can use.

If you haven't removed the AR's, or upgraded the spring, what have you actually done? The only thing I can think of is a voltage upgrade, and seeing as you're using the stock spring, that's probably where the dart feed issue is coming from...

    Cheers,
