    my recon Dsc00570o
Just thought it would look nice sitting alongside my other choice of primaries.
Has simple AR removal performed - ranges are pretty crap 15m with stefans but i still like it.
Painted satin black with VHT vinyl dye, shoulder stock from nerf raider, scope from nerf recon.

Has recently received a new red dot sight.

Got it off ebay, theres heaps of them (mostly from overseas sellers). That one there cost me 12bucks altogether - so cheaper than any nerf accessory I've seen. Took abit of fiddling to attach but it was worth it.

Call it what you want, it's for aesthetics more than anything. And no, the parts were spray painted. Dumping anything in a bucket of paint probably won't turn out very well.

Nah this doesn't get taken outside - I'm not keen on getting shot by the cops.

dude i suggest putting an orange tip in the end of ur guns you would get fined like over a grand for them if you had them in public because the look like a real fire arm even if you have them in your car!

do u take ur guns apart to paint what paints do u use and do u primer them or sand the shell and do you put a protecting ceil on them??

Yes I take them apart and sand off the logos. Start with a coarse grain and work your way down to something fine like wet&dry. I don't use any protective coats for my black guns, just vinyl dye. If I'm working with paints instead of vinyl dye's I usually just spray them with a clear gloss/matt finishing spray depending on the effect I'm after. I think the brand was called 'squirt' from bunnings for about 7bucks a can. I don't use primers but I'm happy with the results i get without them.
    Hope that helps
