    Is it worth it?

I have a useless hornet, two spare Mavericks and two spare Nitefinders. My thought was to strip all internals, placing the Rev-6 system inside (technically outside) the hornet shell with NF internals to do the dart pushing, with some extended barrels for range, giving me a 12-shot rifle, effectively.

    My questions are thus:

    1) Has anyone tried a nitefinder/mav integration (have hard hard luck finding any such posts) and if so did it work?
    2) Should I even bother?

I know a few peoples thoughts on dual-wielded Mavericks, and in response to the same arguments from this thread, I am attempting to improve range (vai NF internals) and accuracy (with a longer barrel system), and while I'm at it hopefully improve the various other minor glitches that I occasionally have with my mav (misfires, jams, etc.).

I recommend not doing it unless your have an extreme amount of time and patients. I attempted a Nite-Mav a few months ago and ended up scrapping it. I serious got so pissed, I had planned but it was just a big fail. My problems were:

    - Plunger tube wouldn't fkn fit in the shell evenr after a good few hours of dremeling
    - Catch wouldn't catch at all (this is the killer, serious pain in the ass)

In the end I ended up with a screwed Mav case and a practically ruined set of NF internals.

Have a go if your truely willing...

Search around on Nerfhaven for a nite-mav mod.

I think the most difficult part of it is aligning the trigger to the rotation mech.

There is a really good NiteMav write up on NerfHQ actually, of all places.

Yeah you want carrtoon's Nightmav mod, he couldn't post it on NH due to the picture limit so NHQ is where it's at...

    WRITEUP CAN BE FOUND HERE

I followed the exact write up, it really doesn't help. When it gets to installing the catch and aligning the trigger, it just says something about trial and error. No specific instructions
