So I cracked open my brand new yellow LS today.
Did the standard mods (AR, NF spring, lock removal) and then had a thought.

"I wonder if that 17/32nd brass over there fits inside the barrel"

So I tried it and what do you know, it fits.

First, cut around an inch of the brass, and hammer it in until it if flush with the half pipe of the original barrel. Now grab your dremel and cut the brass to fit and look the exact same as the half pipe. Sand it clean and you done. This tightens the hold on darts allow more pressure to build up which adds range.

Works with streamlines and some 13mm FBR (sorry informer, not yours )

I drilled straight thought the back part. But I cracked the black part of the barrel. So I just cut off the barrel, took out the ARs and re joined the barrel using brass.

I am assuming this will fit informers new foam and tempted to go buy some 17/32. Have you thought of putting a piece of 9/16 or another piece of 17/32 inside the faux barrel and also creating a much better seal between the breech and the barrel so that it doesn't loose air pressure and the dart is force the hole way down it?

Now that you mention it, that could work. But I can't try it cause once the brass is in, it ain't coming out

It would be relatively simple to do, just make the brass half pipe extend further out and past the dart tooth. This would slide into 9/16th, creating sort of a hybrid stock/angel breech.

Larger hobby stores stock a couple of lengths of each size normally. There are also a couple of online hobby stores in aus that will ship it to you.

I did this with my old Longshot (minus the quarter pipe, I just rammed down 17/32 as far down as I could.

It would work with blue foam sometimes, but there was always the risk it would jam because the dart wasn't going in.

instead of posting it in a thread 5 months old, you could've searched the forum, googled it or post in the questions thread.
I'm really annoyed because in the last couple of weeks sooo many new people have been posting in really old threads. Sorry for being nasty though. It's not that hard to read a couple paragraphs of rules.
