mega missile need help!

so i got a mega missile and i want to mod it but i need to know if i can just saw off the end of the barrel. here are my questions:

1. would i be able to shoot darts or stefans from it with no barrel replacement?

2. would the missile still work?

and DO NOT tell me i can get much better performance if i do a barrel replacement, i don't have any pvc, petg, ect... and my nearest Bunnings only stocks 15mm and no smaller.

Yes to both. Actually when i sawed off the barrel on both my big blast and mega missle the missle shot better.
