nice work- very innovative with the mav integration. I was wondering, is it very strong? Coz you can only attach it on the slide. Also, is there any room to load the recon? could you post some more detailed photos? Nice paintjob. I guess ill have to post a thing about my recon.

yeah as he said, squirt from bunnings is really good and there is flat and glossy colours also fiddly bits should work but might melt the plastic and is only available in glossy

Hmm, stretching the spring will give you temporary power but it'll eventually just go back to it's normal size. You're probably better off replacing the spring.

Edit: Sorry missed the part where you combined springs sorry. 60ft is pretty good for a recon, but is this 60feet flat or angled?

But asides that your gun looks beautiful... makes me want to buy one :(.

my Recon is now moded (with help from my mate), we drilled out the air restricter and stretched the spring. It's much louder and shoots a greater distance.

So stretching the spring does work....for now.

Yeah it should work for now... I think you'll need to open the gun up every month though to restretch the spring. Because if the stretched spring is confined like that for a long time it'll revert back to it's old shape....

By the way! what distances are you getting with the air restrictor removed?

Yeah I realize his spring will eventually compress back to normal but it will do atm, we have to find a supplier close to us that sells a wide range of compression springs... bunnings has a few but we didn't have one out of the gun to compare . Also i'm finding the recons a little picky about the way the spring is modded, some people swear on stretching others on double springs and some even replace it altogether but interestingly the one mod doesn't always work for all guns.

unfortunately we haven't had a chance to measure any distances but we will as soon as we get a chance , so stay tuned..

    - Added a NF spring

OK so let me get this right, you can put a night finder spring in a recon? if that is correct and the other statement that you can replace a stock night finder spring with modded C-836 spring, does this mean you could theoretically use the C-836 spring in the recon???

forgive me if this sounds like a silly question but it seems no-one is willing to state categorically this will work..
