For those people asking about aluminium parts, this may answer a few questions
Here is some information and FAQs

    Can I make part xxxxx?
Yes, most likely unless the part is overly complex or large I can make it in almost any kind of material, from wax to steel. Pictures with a reference to size help in determining if I can make the part and the approx cost.
Examples of things I can make, are just about all nerf internals, e.g. bolt sled, trigger, plunger, catch etc.
Examples of things I can not make or will not make, gun casing, springs and o-rings.
There isnt anything overly complex in a nerf gun

How can I make these parts?
To make a part that will work I will actually need the physical part, broken is OK, the entire gun is better
I can make parts from drawings but they will only be as accurate as the details in the drawing
I can make changes to stock parts but I will need a detailed description of what needs to be changed

    How long will it take?
For new pieces it will take from a few weeks to a month
For parts I have already made and dont have any stock for less then a one week

    How much will it cost?
Most parts I've seen I can make from $20(catch) to $75(bolt sled)
Delivery is generally less then $5-$10 for the first part free after that

    Shameless self-promoter huh?

Aluminium parts are great, just that they are WAY too expensive. Might as well buy a new gun.

Yeah but the point of aluminium parts isn't just to replace a broken part so your gun works again. That'd be silly, sure, just buy another gun, it'll often be cheaper.

The whole point of aluminium parts is they allow you to run your gun with the firmer spring/removed ARs/whatever without it breaking. They make more power possible for your gun, buying another stock gun for a replacement part isn't gonna help with that.

I am wondering what kind of machinery you have on hand or available?

as there maybe no point in me looking at a the cnc machines i am currently looking at if you have these, i can just go bac to the drawing stage, just for the record i have worked as a mechanical drafter. So i know a part can only be as good as the drawing. Just wondering if you need anything else with the drawing?

With clamps can mill upto 300mm x 125mm
This will soon be 4-axis with tool changer
    A 9x20 lathe
Various other tools that everyone would have

I'm also after an aluminum bolt sled.

Will pay quite a bit for a dead set match of the original.

What do you mean by dead set match?
Do you mean entirely machined out of a solid aluminium block?

The part I'm making will be made is parts but still be a stronger working copy of the stock plastic version
If it works out the way I plan I'm guessing about $65

$65 sounds decent, consider me interested (like everyone else) in the LS bolt sled.

What I ment by dead set match is the same as the original in shape and detail but in aluminium.

I'd happily pay $75.00 for this.

Made from one piece, or would you accept glued together?

Mine will be made in 4 pieces bolted/screwed together
    With only required detail

Are you still making Recon plungers? Is it possible to make parts with a cheaper material, but still have them not breaking?
    Thank you.

Not really the plunger tube is about 3mm thick
Metal is about the only option
steel is cheaper to purchase, heavier, but much harder to machine
Maybe something like Lexan might work

Acetal is a durable plastic which costs more then aluminium, but is easier to machine
