Stampede mod help! Empty Stampede mod help!

    Hi

I just did the stampede voltage mod. I put the voltage to 15volts using 10 AA and a battery tray. I soldard the positive wire to the positive point on the stampede tray and used a aligator clip to the negative spring, loaded it up and fired 3 18 dart clips which worked very well, collected my darts and went to try again and nothing no a peep.

Any ideas? The door is closed the switch is on clip in?

Can I fix it or get a new one? Would like to fix it no local stores stock it at the moment to get a new one

    help please....

Convert back to factory config, does it work then? If it does you probs just have some connection issues and you know you haven't damaged anything

I dont know much about the stampede, but maybe its too many volts. If its like a barrcade it stops working once exceeds a line, like with the barricade the motors wont even start up past 12 Volts.

Nah 15 is not too many. Maybe you've slipped a gear. But you'd still hear the motor running if that was the case.

I will put it back to factory maybe ther is a dodgy solder point where I soldared onto the terminal.

It shouldn't be too high I have seen sg nerf put 18 volt through it

maybe it's frizzeled........ Maybe Servulus knows?

Check to see if the bolt has fully retracted, the cycle will not start if the bolt isn't in the original spot.

Make sure to compress all 4 pressure switches otherwise it will not work.

I found with my quick job of soldering to the terminals, my solder that I use don't stick properly to the chrome surface, I had to scratch the surface to get it to stick properly. The force of the plunger slamming forward and the bolt moving backwards did loosen and eventually separate the solder. I've resoldered the terminals and took my time with it, it doesn't come apart anymore.

ok i was just fiddeling around with it and i got the motor to run by powering it up seperately and pulling the trigger so i would say there is a break in one of wires some where, the earth (-) is ok because i can connect to the earth and positive to the motor and it runs with the trigger, so i think i will just run a power wire straight from the battery pack to the motor. this will disable all the pressure switches and locks but the stampede will still operate with the trigger, but no on off switch.
