    Nerf N-Strike Spectre Rev-5 Empty Nerf N-Strike Spectre Rev-5

Post  Mark Sat Jan 15, 2011 3:21 am

First of all, I was down in melbourne and I went pass the CBD Target, and I thought I'll have a look just to see what they have. And yes, the Spectre was there at a fantastic price of $24.00 -Thank god i only had $25 dollers left.

Out of The box it shot extreamly accurately and very far. Around 30-35ft (10m) actually. Nothing ever lasts, it soon deflated back to 25-30ft.

Barrel Extension: I found that it did nothing really to the accuracy but it did take 2-3ft of the range. It looks like a silencer, but no, it doesent work, but it looks alright thow.

Folding Stock: I hate it, hard to use and fold, i just leave it how it is. Alright, it looks bad, it feels bad, honestly hasbro should have stuck to the basics here, still you might like it.

Look: Skinny Boy of the N-Strike range. Frankly its too long and its not wide enough.

All things being equal, its a great gun, good value for money.

    Range: 8.5/10
    Accuracy: 10/10
    Weight: 10/10 Light
    Feel: 9/10 Depends
Value: 10/10 Cosidering its in Australia.
    All up: 9/10

The Spectre lives up to its name sake. Ghost.

A shorter, wider gun, sounds like a maverick :p

Maverick is the best for you, it's front heavy but just chuck something in the handle and it will be quite good.

Just saying... why don't people put pictures of the gun being reviewed in their reviews? it might help people understand if they don't have the gun itself...

Maybe there should be a default format to follow with reviews which will make it a lot easier for people to understand and comment on.

    Eg- Background Info
    Picture
    Main Unit Function
    Attachments

Something like that. Then just end off by rating categories like range, appearance etc.

Love it, it conceals perfectly in the hollow of my back.

modded my own way, works a charm (incidentally it now needs the barrel extension, and suctions to fire accurately, and the stock helps, so it is one of the only guns that I carry fully assembled.
