Wouldn't that be BNIB = Brand New in box

From other dealings I've had and what I've seen in various other places:

BNIB: Unopened, and obviously never used.
NIB: Opened but with everything intact and never used.

Yep, that's generally how it works. I just bought a NIB magstrike from littlebro05, and he opened it to make sure it worked properly, before posting it. When it arrived, you could hardly tell it had been opened!!
