Hi mates, in this post i'll tell you how to get stefans to work in stock guns and also how to make stefans.

    Materials:
    13mm FBR
Size 00 spilt shot sinkers (Available at Kmart)
    Hot Glue Gun
    Nail
Mesh Bag (can be any type of bag but mesh bags are the safest)
    Tools
    Pliers
    Hair dyer
    Stove
    Stanley Knife

    1. Cut up your FBR in about the sizes of 2 inches.
    2. Put them in the mesh bag and just put the point of the hair dyer into the bag and heat for about 30 seconds to a minute until they straighten.
    3. Then with the hot glue gun tip burn little holes on the FBR.
    4. Put a bit of hot glue into the hole.
    5. And put in a fishing weight.
    6. Cover the fishing weight with a nice little dome of glue and wait for it to dry.
    7. Hold the nail with the pliers and put the nail into the fire of the stove.
    8. Wait a minute.
    9. Now that the nail has been heated just place the nail onto the back of the Stefan and place it DO NOT PUSH IT.
    10. Now you should have a hole if not try again it takes practise.

P.S It depends on the length of the nail makes the length of the hole.
P.S.S When I take pictures I will post them.

Hey! Welcome to oznerf! Why not introduce yourself over in the "Welcome to Oznerf" forum.

Also please read the rules and update your Profile with an Avatar and your correct age and location.

On Topic: Why not wait till you have the pictures before posting this write-up?
Anyway as littlebro said, we've converted from FBR to blue foam, also don't ask where to get it, search it. Real easy.

I think that with this technique the average nerfer would ruin more cents worth of FBR than they would have saved by using FBR.

    Generally FBR still costs more.

Seriously, it would be so hard to burn a straight hole into the back of a blank with a hot nail, you'd get plenty of jams, I reckon. For stock blasters, stock darts or Informer's foam. Informer's foam being about a thousand times better than stock foam.

It's not so much a problem, were just trying to phase out the use of metal weights. It's unsafe maybe not in your eyes but to the public.
