Back on topic...
My kit arrived yesterday, and I had 15 mins spare this morning, so I threw it in a new AT.
Removed AR's, sealed tube pin hole, taped under o-ring, plunger tube buffer installed, re-lubed o-ring, and added new spring.
Results were quite good, with an average of 63 feet angled at 20 degrees from the hip, using a variety of blue foam stingers and sili's. To put this in perspective, I achieved 68 feet with my last AT, same angle, same mods - stock spring with a spacer. Admittedly, I was firing in to a slight head-wind today, so I'd put both the spring set-ups on a par for range.
The advantage of OzNerfNerd's spring kit, is it's a lot quicker to install the spring than making a spring spacer out of pve/e-tape. I didn't need to dremel out any of the shell for it to work, which is what I had to do with my BT spring, and even then, it didn't cock consistently. The buffer is quite good, and is a perfect fit, and the lube seems really good too. Good enough, that I may have to see if I can't get some more!! haha
At the end of the day, reverse-plunger's still suck, but this kit certainly makes them half-respectable. I've always been rather fond of the AT's, and now I can get reasonable range, without too much hassle. The upgrade kit would be a very useful mod to any RP blaster, especialy any used for indoor wars. 15 mins, and I had the whole mod done, and blaster back together -you can't argue with that.
At some stage, I'll swap it out to the Recon and LongStrike, but that will be a few weeks away yet, due to some personal commitments.
Also, it looks like you could squeeze in a small spring spacer as well, giving even more range. I will also look in to this.

I just wanted to add that OzNerfNerd is very easy to deal with, and postage is extremely quick.
Cheers,
