So what date should we do my Melbourne Proposed Indoor War for this school holidays V2 has been cancelled.

i can only come if my dad or brothers are feeling nice and are willing to go an hour out of their way and then i'll need a lift back home. Public transport to my place is 90 minutes...
i'll try to make it my first nerf war but i don't have any darts that i can chuck so it'll be better for dart hire. keep me updated KC.

I may have mentioned this before but I will say it again: I am loaded with at least 600 stefans at my disposal that I'm willing to share as so long as I see the majority of them. Please do not stress too much into any matters with dart hire and such until we organisers tell you so. Until then, provide your own if you can and if you can't do that then don't stress too much. The most I will ask in return is that you either help me clean up or some other minuscule favour that you won't feel opposed to doing (buy me something or provide me with blaster parts lol).

I may or may not be able to come, depending on if I'm able to get transport or not. If so, I'll most likely bring along a friend, and I'll need dart hire if we're using stefans. Why didn't I see SS's post? *facepalm*

Just to let you know, you don't HAVE to use stefans. If you want you could use stock streamlines.

Sorry guys more bad news. I got this in an email today.

Hmmmm. I thought you wanted the hall during the day. We don't do night stuff (for people outside of the group) because we are surrounded by neighbours.

So, do we move the time to 9am to 5pm or do I just cancel the war for now.

I'm thinking best to just cancel.

Damn I was looking forward to it. Maybe someone can look into hosting an outdoor war on the holidays.

Move it to Ruffey Lake Park? I'd prefer an indoor war + cover, but if people want an evening war, then I reckon that's best, as we've been there before.

Wattle Park is probably out, as I think I heard you guys saying you found some syringes there? Don't wanna run into some druggies.

I would say a new war at Ruffey Lake Park as most of us have been there and it has a big playground and reserve behind that.

Personally, I don't see the problem with a war during the day -- it's still a large indoor space, which we don't usually have wars at, so it's exciting and different, and when we're indoors, the amount of light outside is irrelevant.

But having it during the day might mean that some adult nerfers have to work and can't make it (I happen to have that day off - woohoo! ); on the other hand, some parents might be happier having their kids out during the day than at night.

1. Then it would have to be a daytime war anyway. I doubt there would be enough lighting to make running around the park safe; it would probably be too cold at night, and dart cleanup would be pretty near impossible.

Cam I would be VERY interested in a Park war to compensate for the indoor war Cancellation

I might one a week after the School holidays ends In a park in Camberwell.

If its after the holidays My +1 and I probably can't attend due to Tuition and other commitments. But the School holidays are great for us I could probably even get +2 on the holidays.

I see that most of you's are based in the east, are any of you based in the west? (werribee, pointcook, laverton area)

There's only one week left so it would have to be a quickly organised one. HvZ is the only other option for people in Melbourne.
