As promised in my first post, here's my custom Nite Finder, it took me a while and I don't think it went that well and can be improved a lot.
So I call it the Guardian Mk I

I have lost some pictures due to corruption so yeah....anyway. First I minimized it, I just followed the line and sliced the light area off.
Secondly I cut the front part of the Plunger Tube, originally I tried to boil the glue away but it morphed the plunger tube, so then i had to go buy a new Nite Finder just for a new plunger tube. With the new one I just snapped it off.
Third Step, I sanded the inside of the 15mm coupler so it would nest onto the ring that the AR used to sit in.
Forth Step, next I epoxied it on, hot glued over it and e-taped over it
Fifth Step, I added e-tape under the o-ring and added an extra one, padded the plunger head and lubed the hell out of it
Sixth Step, This part troubled me a bit, I managed to get a C836 but I wasn't and still am not sure to put it in or not, it looks it would just kill it, so I just put a first gen NF spring in there for the moment while I find an alternative or use this as a learning experience for Mk II
Paint, I'm still using Citadel paints, I have over 50 paints but only like 9 work so my colour schemes aren't the best but I used; Bolt gun metal, Shining gold, Nauseating blue, Liche purple, Polished blue, Dark angel green and some old Blood red spray paint (I wish i had more :()
End result, great range, I can't really measure because my hallways too short. With the coupler at the front I lost a screw post and now the top is loose, it can't do an rscb or shoot 2 darts at once with a custom attachment (the T with the elbows) But as I said before this is learning.
Also what makes a great custom plunger tube for the NF?
