Gold Coast wars? Empty Gold Coast wars?

Post  False Thu Aug 11, 2011 1:02 pm

So yeah, I used to attend Brisbane wars but I am unable to go anymore because of my parents refusing to take me.

I loved the wars that I did attend. They present opportunitys to learn more and to inflict pain on fellow nerfers with your freshly modded E-PEEN, plus it's interesting to see what people look like IRL.

This is not an immediate thing, I'm just looking at numbers to see if it is worth even hosting any wars, plus buying darts and tarps and whatnot. If I do host any, however, they will probably mostly be hosted in school holidays as I am pretty busy nowadays(not to mention strapped for cash what with buying blasters and such). :/

Also, if anyone from Brisbane or outside the GC area is still willing to drive down every now and then, feel free to vote!

You should probably start with BYO wars then. Find a park where you don't need to bring cover at all. Plenty of trees, but not too much.

I'd be keen for a trip down every now and then. Girlygamer is at GC too I'm pretty sure.

Yeah Thanh, I'll probably end up doing BYO wars untill I can afford dart hire.

Haha, Ben. The water is pretty cold now though!

Please vote on the poll so I can get a rough estimate of numbers.
