Although, I don't really want people to bring them because you lose to many darts shooting them into the distance if you know what I mean.

If you want, but try not to shoot the goddamn tree. I dont' want people breaking darts. Today, the only reason we lost so many darts was because the air guns always blow the cap right off the dart.
Although, I don't really want people to bring them because you lose to many darts shooting them into the distance if you know what I mean.

Will this ban on Air blasters, rscbs, hoppers, inlines, etc continue from now on at Central KG wars?

Thanh certainly isn't being unreasonable, hosting wars costs a fair bit so every dart really does count. I was thinking about some pillow like contraption for target shooting at my wars to entertain bystanders while keeping darts intact.

Quite possibly. After seeing the wounds get more and more damaging each war, from just a normal bruising welts, to bleeding welts, it seems that people are upping the ante even more that it makes it quite dangerous to use at KG wars especially in a tight space.
Alot of silicone tip darts were lost at the last KG war because people were popping their shots everywhere. I usually lose 15%, but last war I lsot about 30%. Heavy silicone tips aren't cheap either compared to snap caps.
If you try it out and it's successful, you can bring it to KG, I dont' really want to test it at KG after losing too many darts last KG war.

Hey mate,
At home here, I've glued some old mattress foam inside a box for a target. I put sheets of styrofoam in front of that as well. The darts go through the stryo with no damage, and the foam prevents if from going out the back of the box. It does get a bit messy though.
Maybe you could do the same, and just use a thin piece of cardboard instead of the styro.
Cheers,

I'll give it a shot tomorrow.
Personally I'm one of those people who can't stop shooting things and I'm sure there are many others like me. With some luck this should minimise dart loss.

Yeh mate, it should definitely minimise dart loss.
Obviously, you can make it as big as you like, and it's fairly portable too.
I've had a couple dart tips come off when using the styrofoam, but nothing too major.
Cheers,

Well if you can, bring it to the war. Although I'm still not letting the use of air singled / inline / RSCB / hopper blasters. Decision is final. If people want to shoot air blasters, they should come either your wars when they start hosting it again, or my wars in Salisbury.
So guys, leave your air blasters at home. You can show case them at the end of the day, but not during the day. Sick of losing more darts than I usually do because of the trigger happy people.
I lost 30-40% last war. Sold about maybe 20% so I was left with. The war before that, I managed to get at least 85% of darts back. Big difference in lost. I know for sure that I checked everyone's blasters before they left too. Heavy Sili Tips are expensive. Whereas snap caps are way cheaper, so if I lose them, it's not a big deal. I'm sure Echoe's knows what I'm talking about.

KG is set up with a lot of close quarter contact so a down grade of blasters is probably over due. It will certainly take the pressure of the new players at any rate.

Blasters for hire are furyfires. I have about 4 of them. However, I'm not going to bring them UNLESS people PM me before hand. Thanks. They shoot about 60ft max angled.

LOL! Nah the only reason I remembered was that when I was sorting through the war footage to make a previous war promo, those were the blasters you were using. I figured you'd be using it again...
Alright cool. I CBF updating the profiles now but it looks like we got about 20+ coming to this one.

Which also reminds me.
REMEMBER TO MARK YOUR BLASTERS!!! If you bring your blaster and can't find it because someone else has the exact blaster... then it's your own fault. So once again. REMEMBER TO NAME / MARK YOUR BLASTERS. Make them noticable too. Not tiny letters.
Also... just a reminder... that's Brisbane's FIRST BIG WAR started exactly ONE YEAR AGO. Today will be our very first anniversary for a year long of Nerfing.
Even though Brisbane officially started their Nerf Wars in June / July. Two wars during those two months. There wasn't a war hosted until September... the big one. 35 people. 3000 stinger darts were made that day.
We still have a few 'originals' who come to our wars. Probably, 25% of us from that day still continue on!
