Couloured hot glue colours are: Green, Purple , Red , Yellow And Black.

OR you can just get normal clear hot glue.

Unfortunetly i only have blue foam and it only comes in 6.4cm lengths.

This is not a matter of whether we should be encouraging participation from members or not; rather it's bringing up a safety concern that does affect the overall safety facade in our local wars. Unless you or anyone else has actually participated in the wars where the darts in question were used, no one is obligated to say anything on the matter.

What does confuse me is the fact that the darts that are shown in the picture were not those that were used in the Wattle Park wars. Those were far too dangerous to use with the jagged edges around them, thus Shadow I do suggest you present a picture of a sizable batch to prove quality reassurance with the rest of us. Thanks.

Yes, this is true, but I believe we should focus on the actual standard of safety, not just the safety facade (which is only the appearance of something).

Hence my first post....

But, nice idea with evidence of a larger dart batch pic.

No mate, the thread won't be locked. You've obviously got some support behind you, so now you need to make good quality darts that are safe.

It's the easiest way to eradicate any further negativity.

I'm going to clear out this thread. From the negative comments.

I am very upset with Cam because he has made Swatsonia close my thread on Australian Nerf because of me having "jagged edges" Witch in the picture that i have on this thread don’t have "jagged edges" Now he has killed my business. if anyone here ever starts a Stefan service never listen to cam. He is just a desperate person who wants to kill every ones business in an unfair manner. He has also made Unfair allegations of this picture of my darts are off Google images.

Well from my experience, Cam has been encouraging me, He's only telling you that your darts are not good enough for selling and safety purposes. I have to agree, your darts were not safe enough to be used in war because the glue had sank into the hollow foam and had a volcano like dome.
I don't want to BSM, but seriously you need to fix up your spelling, you have lots of mistakes in there...

Now I dont think they would hurt or be a safety issue, but visually appealing? You receive no points.

I just wanna say, I've approached shadownerfer to send me a sample of his darts, and I will try to give him a fair assessment of it.

Shadow - if you're having trouble making the glue dome tops, why not just convert over to snap caps. They only work out to be a couple of extra cents per dart, and are a lot easier to make.

Not only that, but they look a lot more uniform and safe. If we're trying to keep off the radar of the safety/fun police, you'd have to think that anything would be a better option that hot glue dome-tipped darts.

Obviously, sili-tips being the safest, with snap caps a close second. These hot-glue tipped darts.... not even a distant third.

I've bought some of Cam's darts - and whilst they are of high quality, I still don't rate them anywhere near as good as the stinger's I've made/received from various member's.

Just a bit of food for thought mate.

Just to let you know we have Now ban all Snap Cap darts from being used in Melbourne wars, If I see even one I will personally see it through that each one of them is shredded to pieces and ban the player who used it from all Melbourne wars(the other organisers in Melbourne support this rule, so watch out).

Mate there is NO NEED to start fights, you did it on AustralianNerf and now you are doing it here.
Here's my advise (I don't care if you listen or not)
1. Get a Low Temp Glue Gun
2. Get a mold for your darts to get a Perfect Head.
3. And Take more time with your darts, If you are selling them make sure they are perfect.
4. Don't rush them

MATE LEAVE CAM ALONE. Hes trying to stop people from buying UNSAFE darts. I would of done the same thing, If he was interested in wrecking your sales wouldn't he of done the same thing to Toobz who came before you? No, He is helping you and the community so leave Cam alone.

Nothing Cam said there relates to ending your sales. I don't think anyone will buy from you with that kind of attitude.
@People who things Snap Caps are safe, If a Snap Cap hits something hard it chips the plastic making it being able to cut people's skin. I'm talking from what I hear, I talk from experience.

As much as I think it's BS about the snap caps cracking...

Shadow, it's probably something you should take note of, if only just for the Melbourne buyer's. I've personally tested (as opposed to herd...) snap caps out of a plugged Titan in to a brick wall. About 15% of a batch of 30 darts cracked, it was more common for the snap cap to separate from the dart.
When performing the same test with a BBLS, I had 0 snap caps crack.

Now, putting that in to reality... Most wars don't accommodate any blaster with the power of a Titan, and the minimum engagement distance is less than the 20 feet that I was firing from...

But, this is a decision that has been made for the good of the Southern community, so my data and tests are irrelevant. Just wanted to put it out there as actual proof for the larger community.

Shadow - Luke's got some very good advice. Using a mould will probably make things a lot better for the quality and uniformity of your darts, whilst still conforming with the Melboure War Rules.


Cam - I see you've also taken on the attitude of threatening to destroy other people's equipment. Yes, ban people from the War's if they don't conform, that's just common-sense. But, shredding their darts... well, if you're that stupid, go for it!! Just remember, that the majority of the younger kids will have a Dad/older brother, who may not be all that fond of the idea.... haha

I agree with clunk on this. Snap caps rarely crack. I've fired a heap of snap cap darts with a hydro cannon at brick wall and they pretty much just break off. I had only one or two crack.
