Promotion of member's

Hi boys and girls,

The following promotions in rank have been put in to effect.

Littlebro - Administrator.
Joey - Moderator.
Dietzie - Moderator.
Oxymoron - Moderator.
Unknown - Donator.
Luke - Donator.
KingCam - Donator.

These changes have been made to recognise the contributions made by the aforementioned member's to the Nerfing Community in general.

Congratulations guys, and I'm sure you'll continue the good work that has earned you these titles.

I only hope that in being a mod here I can do my best to keep this community going strong. Things have really picked up in the last while so lets *all* do our part to keep it that way

I do sincerely apologise Servulus, I'm not sure what happened to your rank. I will get it sorted straight away.

Edit: It appears that when I added the new member's to the group, I managed to remove the existing member's as well. It's been sorted now, and there was no malice intended whatsoever.

So I take it regardless of geographical bias, you guys will strive to do your utmost best to act in the interests of nerfing throuhgout Australia.

I know clunk's position on this, I just want to know the others' view on that.

Well I for one hope to promote nerf has a hobby/sport/etc wherever possible. Hell this site has some people that don't even live in the country, and that is fine too.

I'm not sure what you mean, but I'll be helping other members and what not. I will still try to contribute the community when I can. Such as the basic write ups of other Nerf Guns and what not.

This is mainly an Australian site, but I do welcome the international visitors as they are also a great resource of knowledge and methods to help develop the information base of this site.

A big problem we've encountered that alot of new members attending our wars feel desperately underpowered, so I will be hosting wars where the blasters are more regulated and not be over kill, but at the same time whoever feels daring enough or prepared, they can attend the more 'powerful wars'.

+ The founders are still from Melbourne, there are moderators from Adelaide (although they barely visit anymore), not that geographically imba compared to how it was last time.

I think the problem is, you've failed to recognise that a significant portion of the active forum members are from New South Wales. Which, I'm going to point out, does not have a representative member. Which means the moderation is biased against that region, and they are unable to moderate their own war threads, etc. Oh well. Not like it's important, there's only what, 20 consistently warring members from NSW? 30+ on a given weekend of war? Tiny, Insignificant. Oh wait, that's more hardcore members than ANYWHERE ELSE. Give them a moderator so they can organise their own threads.

Hmm yeah, good point. I shall discuss with the higher ups.

Slight bit of sarcasm, but also an observational point. I really don't mind where the mods come from, as long as they act fairly and justly.

Nerfing is a global "sport" (if you even call it a sport at all :lol:) so it doesn't really matter if there are any NSW rep or mod here. If you want to ask someone, maybe you can ask Echoes as he does get involved in war organising nowaday, but I think he is pretty busy himself over at Australiannerf forum.

I would like to announce that evozn has now most definitely earned the title of donator. After posting several pictures of internals, wrote quite a few write-ups and now created a thread which will benefit the community. Your contribution to our forums has been much appreciated =).
