    That is the best prop dog I have ever seen....
    Now I'm getting an itch for some ME paint jobs. >_<

    I'm curious what material you use to create the custom parts that you attach to preexisting toys?

    @LostBoy
    She photo bombed it when I took the picture and I thought it was funny so kept it ;p

    @Eclipse
    The only problem with the ammo boxes is they are HEAVY, so postage would be insane.

    @Bommah
    Thanks mate, that would be awesome wouldn't it.

    @Kaine
    LOL yes dry-brushing in that fur was quite a task!
    I'm not sure what you mean about materials? I usually use pieces of other Nerf and various other blasters, also some odd bits and pieces. I've got an album on my Facebook page where I add in "Everyday Guff to Help Mod Blasters" when I find things that are useful in cosmetic modding.

    And the eyes, they look so lifelike. They almost follow you around the room......

    I was curious about what kind of sculpting material you use in some of your more advanced creations, for instance if you use something like epoxy putty or epoxy resin etc.

    Also, what do you do with all your fantastical creations? Wall/box/storage unit of shame/fame?

    Hi Kaine ... firstly LOL... the eyes do follow you around the room, especially when eating something sweet ;p
    I've used a few sculpting type things, to varying degrees of success, it really depends on how big your job is and what you're sculpting I think. I'm certainly no specialist when it comes to such things, but Bondo / Bog is great for BIG jobs (this District 9 Blaster for example. Great to sand, but a bit messy. I used knead-It (or was it Need It?) but that was expensive and comes in a smallish tube. For intricate jobs I use Green Stuff, again.. extortionate, but hardens almost like plastic. Hope that's of some help!

    As for what I do with the blasters, well I was keeping them as I was doing them for fun and relaxation, but I've spent so much money on them now (don't ask!) I NEED to sell them, and I've been signed up to do the SupaNova convention, so I will 'hopefully' be able to sell a few there... then start all over again haha. I will keep a few though, on my pegboard in the garage and I have some gaming ones on my games shelf ;p

    @Akimbo
    Hahaha I WISH!

    Ahhh I see now I understand how you did it, you're a witch! :p
    Hmm, just to be certain I'll get a Duck.

    So far I have used Kneadeatite (also called Green Stuff I believe) which I like since it seems very forgiving when mistakes are made. >__>
    Never thought of using Bog though, rather clever inexpensive crafting material. Have been trying to source epoxy resin, not for any particular use specifically more just for messing around with.

    I couldn't sell any of the things I have made, I invest too much self into them to let them go, not that I would have spent anywhere near as much time as you did on your props.
    You should open up an ebay store make it an auction and just set the reserve to what you want for them. At the very least it would be interesting to see how much people will pay for them for starters.

    @Kaine
    Thanks for the thoughts. I'm not sure about ebay, the fees have gone from reasonable to fairly hefty. I'd love to know if you have any luck finding the epoxy resin, I'd love to give that a try.

    As for time invested, that's another reason coming to a pricing structure is hard.. I spend a multitude of hours on even a small one... some of them I just love, but I really need to get rid of them before they take over my house lol.

    ... lastly.. yes I have been called a witch before ;p

    Latest Nerf mod is here. I've been overseas on holiday, but got back and needless to say hit the mods. I made a Nerf Lightsaber a wee while back, but it didn't fire, it was for looks. This one fires, so you could hang it on your belt loop and shock someone who thinks it's a lightsaber grip lol

    Hope you've all been well in my absence, good to be back!
