Clunk, you shouldn't be allowed to enter these competitions, haha.

Haha - thanks mate... but remember, I only came 3rd in the last comp. Plus, I'm not really interested in prizes - it's just a good opportunity to showcase some mod's and paint jobs!!
Cheers,

How do you get 180ft?

Yeah, 180ft flat from a stock BBUMB tank with an RSCB, that's a bit exaggerated.

With an rscb of that size, and only using a bbumb tank, ranges like that are highly untrue, lol. Could be possible since the pump is essentially plugged because there's no oprv in the pump.
Yep, it is exaggerated False, way exaggerated.

Having not seen the blaster in question, looking at the pic's, it would appear that the garden hose is serving as a tank expansion. At a guess, I'd say it's probably double the volume of the standard bbumb... I have no idea on RSCB's though, apart from the obvious increase in deadspace etc etc.
At least it won't be too hard to get the ranges verified.
Cheers,

Well I can confirm this blaster can hit 180ft flat'ish ranges. I've been hit by one of these from 150ft flat and it really hurts lol. That's with a heavy sili as well.

Brass has probably the least amount of friction as the dart travels through the barrel as well. So as it people's up pressure, the dart will exit the barrel smoothly.

I have one coming up. Does it matter if it's a commission I'm making for a friend?

When does this comp end? I might have to finish the air powered firefly I started 50billion years ago.
