Absolutely. I have devised, for myself, a very powerful homemade. It gets decent range for its size and simplicity, and is 100% free to make. I will share my secret with you, for free. Just don't tell anyone else, I'd prefer if this was kept secret. It could easily outbalance wars.

Back on topic, jump on nerfhaven and check out their extensive homemades section, some of them are simple, some far more complicated. Things like SNAP blasters are a great thing to look at, their simple design allows for a huge range of variants depending on personal needs and materials available.

I'm currently working on a pressured pneumatic "gun". Mostly consisting of a pressurised metal tank with two one way valves (one in, and one out), a spring loaded butterfly valve (connected to the trigger) and a barrel. All inside a Raider housing. Trying to keep v1.0 simple.
