Ditto that - spotted the 50% off at Broadway Shopping Centre (Sydney) Target. Elite Alpha Trooper and everything else is half price. Also 50% off on the Firestrike, Strongarm, Hailfire, Rampage and Retailiator. AT looks like the usual Target exclusive, given the K-Mart next floor down didn't have them.

Update 08 June 2013: Roughcuts and Diatrons now spotted at K-Mart Broadway NSW Shopping Centre, both are $29.
The Roughcut shown on the back of the box has an orange trigger, but not sure what is actually in the box ? (I bought a UK one months ago). The box has the 15 metre ranges stated, so I assume this is again a 'neutered' Aussie version .. again ! =o/ Photo below:

Available Nerf Blasters in Australia - Page 6 Empty Ordered 4x NERF N-Strike Alpha Trooper @$10 each from Target online aweek ago - got EAT's

Post  gbakhuis Mon Jul 15, 2013 5:40 pm

Someone mentioned that Target were selling EAT's online for $10 over a week ago.

When I jumped online, there were 2 listing for N-Strike AT's, both showing the N-strike name and box art.

One listing was already sold-out, but I thought $10 for the older AT was still a bargain, so I ordered 4.

Picked them up from the local Target last thursday (in a big brown box. Didn';t get around to opening the box till tonight.

    SURPRISE!!! 4 EAT's WOOHOO!

Available Nerf Blasters in Australia - Page 6 Empty Aussie Centurions, Rapidstrike CS18, Stryfe and Elite AT's

Post  argonaut Sun Sep 01, 2013 7:41 am

    Sat 31st August 2013:

    Target, Broadway Shopping Centre, NSW

Nerf Centurions now available !  Photos below. Standard price (not sale) at $63.20 each.  These are grey trigger versions with the Oz 20m range stated on the box. I bought my orange trigger version from Amazon US, and briefly, the ranges are not that great, so it is confusing why they would even need to 'reduce' the ranges of the Aussie version ?

Nerf Rapidstrike CS18's also now available for approx $69. Again, Australian grey trigger versions with box stating the 20m range.  The orange trigger version I bought (again from Amazon US) had reasonable distances, but as an autofire blaster, you are not expecting huge ranges but more rate of fire for clsoe combat.

Elite Alpha Troopers also on sale for $23.20. Again the grey triggers. I bought a grey trigger a while ago for this price, whacked an OMW spring it it without splitting the shell, and voila, a VERY good range blaster with minimal modding.

Stryfe's also available at K-Mart (Broadway NSW) for $25, but again the grey trigger version, 20m range.

Available Nerf Blasters in Australia - Page 6 Empty WHITE Roughcuts at Target, Roselands NSW, 22Dec13

Post  argonaut Sun Dec 22, 2013 3:06 pm

    Sun 22nd Dec 2013,

As usual, I leave my Xmas shopping to the last minute (well not suite cause there are still 2 days to go), I ventured up to my local Roselands Shopping Centre NSW late today and found a Santa-surprise cache of new Nerf WHITE & Orange Roughcuts at Target.  These were posted on Baidu recently.
These were not at the Target at Burwood NSW this afternoon, so must be trickling through to try and get the Xmas dollar.

As at this afternoon, there were only two left on the shelves, so I have no idea whether Target will flood the post Xmas market with these.
Target has 20% off Nerf, so I grabbed my White Roughcut for $31.00 (Au).

Photo up later, but the White Roughy is displayed in an open style box like the Zombie Sledgefire, and marked Hasbro Australia, so at least you can check the paintwork up close !
It has a "up to 20m" range claim on the front, as is evident by the (again) detuned grey trigger (groan) !

I do like the White with Orange accents ..... it's like a "Whiteout" Roughy but without the roundy/target patterns on it !

I also grabbed a standard (Blue with Aussie grey trigger) Roughcut from Kmart Burwood (or from any KMart pallet right now) for a mere $20. Great to keep for spares given I intend "up-grunting" one of these two OMW springs.

Kmart also has a massive discount on the grey trigger Revonix for (I think) $39 !   Having bought mine weeks ago, I think they realise people are "Revonix-ed" out, and the Pyragon is a far better and quieter piece of disc-throwing-kit.

PS - Anyone know how to upgrade/mod a grey triggered Revonix, I can't find any internals pictures anywhere ?    =o)

Yes, all true. Target Roselands NSW only had two of the Slingfires (grey trigger of course) available as of last Tues when I was there. I bought one for $49 to test out, and at that price is why they were still on the shelf ! The Target girl confirmed that their toy sale commences in 2 weeks, so keep your eyes out - my guess is that they will get more stock in this week/next before the sale.

Briefly: Slingfire (grey) performance is actually OK out of the box. I installed an OMW 5kg spring, and left the AR's in, and it has a respectable performance increase (will be better when I remove the AR's). The "winchester" handle is very sturdy and great fun to swing around.

Ironically I also have an order in at Amazon for an Orange trigger Slingfire which I placed 3 weeks ago, but hasn't been fulfilled, I think they have run out of stock. Total cost INCLUDING air mail only came to A$38.36. I also received my Demolisher from Amazon on Monday last, and they have plenty of these in stock.

I recommend waiting until the Target sale starts and grab a Slingfire EARLY and modifying to bring it to at least Orange trigger level ;o)

    Cheers

I am assuming it fits a Strongarm spring? Probably check out the local spring and screw place for something with a punch. How did it handle the 5kg spring?
Probably going to reinforce the lever down the track, I have seen the one hand prime, and how much it distorts doing that.

Actually I know someone who works at Target and they will set one aside tomorrow, in preparation for the toy sale. The only reason I knew about the price is because she gave me the catalog yesterday.
I want to ask about the Demolisher, but I don't want one, and I do, but seriously don't. Definitely. 100%.

Post  argonaut Mon Jul 21, 2014 7:02 pm

Hi Kaine, actually I used the OMW 5kg spring designed for the Retaliator / Rampage / Elite Alpha Trooper. It's the same diameter and only about 5mm shorter than the original Slingfire spring, but makes nil difference. Posts on MeTube show you can place a small section of PVC tube in there to pack it out, but I didn't bother and am very happy with just with the 5kg spring dropped in.

The Slingfire handles the 5kg spring easily, priming is just marginally tighter, but the mechanics will hold up, and the gears seems sturdy enough, as does the very flexy priming handle. You can still do the "John Wayne Winchester" fling with the 5kg spring installed.

Update - Target at Roselands today (21st July) had a new stock of Slingfires and everything else including XShot blasters, enough to supply a battalion for a years Zombie siege !! I counted 3 shelves of approx 25 Slingfires, so no need to rush as I don't think the kids are going to grab them at even $39 each ;o)
BTW the Xshot XCess at $12 is a steal in this Target sale, if just for the swinging double Maverick style chambers.

Aside - The Demolisher is just like a Stryfe .... looks cool for sure, even with all orange, but not much go out of the box. I only got some grunt out of it using Trustfires, like all the Flywheeled models. The lower "grenade" launcher is fun, but is hand powered with a single pump - more pump, more range. I reckon wait for the Aust version, then wait for it on sale =o) (I emailed Hasbro as to whether the Aussie version will be grey trigger and 'de-tuned' ... no response so far.

Enjoy the Slingfire, well worth it and a barrel of fun IMHO =o)

NERF Zombie Strike FlipFury + MEGA CycloneShock + Elite SlingStrike NOW AVAILABLE (as at 17 Jan 2015).

In case you have Christmas cash burning a hole in your pocket !  All three of the above brand new NERF blasters are now available at Kmart and/or Target.

NERF Zombie Strike Flip Fury (Kmart & Target so far): bought mine from Target Broadway Sydney for $29.oo.  As expected, these are Grey trigger versions with "detuned" springs .... go Aussie go .... zzzzzz.  BUT fear NOT amigos, I split mine open and it DOES takes the 7kg OMW spring and is the same size as a Strongarm spring (OMW sell the 7kg springs in packs of 3 which fit the Strongarm/Roughcut/Firestrike/Crossfire).

This then makes the FlipFury a formidable fraggin foam fatale without any other mods.  The Flipfury has slamfire out of the box (woo hoo) and this feature still works fine in mine with the extra power of the 7kg spring (read: very happy !).  The drum flip mechanism is operated by a second trigger and easier to operate than the happy but cheap Big W clone (you know the one).

MEGA CycloneShock (Kmart so far): I think it was $29.00.  Again, the grey trigger version.  I have just received the orange trigger version today from Amazon along with an orange trigger "MEGA BigShock", so will post my thoughts up on these later.

Elite SlingStrike (Kmart so far):  I bought one for $15.oo but have not tested it yet. It's essentially a tricked up slingshot  NB: for those under 30 years old, we had slingshots as kids way back when dinosaurs drove billy carts, and we would break windows and take pot shots at the kid up the street, anyway ... ask your dad.

I think the FlipFury is the best "fun" one of the bunch, and easy to upgrade spring-wise, and you can now have that double drum Strongarm you always wanted. But the CyloneShock is just so Dirty Harry ! =o)

    Hi NERF troopers,

UPDATE August 2015 - NERF VAGABOND

Just an update post to let anyone know who is holding their breath for the New DOOMLANDS VAGABOND .... to breathe out and relax, it's all for nought !

My contact with Hasbro Australia confirmed that the VAGABOND is not being released 'at this stage' in Australia, their direct quote below.
However we all know when people say "at this stage" this can always mean they MIGHT in the future (eg: like some wacko once said "at this stage we are not planning on invading Poland")... so if anyone from Hasbro Australia is listening .... we WANT the VAGABOND ! Or at least I want one =o)

"Unfortunately at this stage we are not running the VegaBond in our market."

Amazon and eBay pricing for these is just silly with the current Aussie dollar being 30% plus under the US greenback as well =o(

    Thursday 25th June 2015:
Not sure anyone reads these posts but thought it worth mentioning the following new NERF blasters are now for sale in Sydney at least.

1/ NERF Doomlands LAWBRINGER - bought myself a Lawbringer tonight (25/6/15) at TARGET in Roselands (South Sydney) for a very high $59.00.  It will surely be cheaper in months to come, as TARGET Roselands always seem to get a handful of new models at ridiculous "new" intro high prices.  They had 5 in stock, hidden at the bottom of a shelf under some other X-shot blasters, so once I saw that "glorious" NERF logo ... I had to buy it =o)
The LAWBRINGER is a very nice size (say 62cm long), and operates just like a Hammershot (same internals it looks like), with the nice added touch of a 12 round rotating drum (rotates on cocking), plus space for storing 12 more darts in the stock.
The stock is not removable, but it doesn't need to be.  It is a muted lighter orange (imagine a yellow mixed in) than a NERF safety orange, and after using it, is a much "friendlier" shade of the fruit than say the bright "Demolisher" orange.
It's a little short for the adult user, but still a very nice feel on the handle and well balanced.
It has a grey trigger, and after test firing, the power is a tad underwhelming - so I have already ordered a booster Hammershot sized spring.  The LAWBRINGER comes with 12 elite darts, but in orange, similar to the old suction darts.

2/ NERF Zombie LongShot - again, these are available at TARGET Roselands, for $49.00, which isn't too bad considering the price of the original Longhsot back in the day.  they had about 5 in stock of these, which I let pass, as I already have a yellow and dark blue original Longshot.  The weird darkish blue colour is a bit off-putting as well, and with the orange just looks bleah !  Weirdly, it has an orange, well almost orange trigger - so am not sure if it's a yank clone, or just a new Oz colour for our detuned styled blasters.

3/ NERF ThunderBlast - these are available at Big W (saw them at Chullora NSW and Rockdale NSW), as part of their 2 week Toy sale which starts today (coinciding with school holidays in NSW). Price is $29.00.  The ThunderBlast is just a standalone rocket launcher for those grenade/mortar type things that came with the Demolisher.  It comes with 3x grenades (same style and colour as the Demolisher), you launch them the same as well, shove it in the barrel, then pump to fire.  Again, given I have a Demolisher I let this one pass.

4/ NERF Zombie Clearshot - again, these are for sale at Big W as above, and are also $29 each.  The Clearshot includes a nice new style scope that fits on the top rail.  Unfortunately it's a single shot pistol, pull back the rear know and then pull the trigger.  There is space for 2 more spare darts under the barrel.

5/ NERF Rhino - available at Big W now for $79.00 for their toy sale, then to be $98 afterwards.

6/ NERF THunderBow - also on sale at Big W now over the NSW school holidays for only $29.  These seemed to sell out quickly as I saw empty spaces on shelves at two Big W locations.  Good value fun for that price.

That's it for now, Oh yes, they have the Slingstrikes (the slingshot things) at Target for only $5 ... not that I think they have been popular ?

Cheers troopers, ARGONAUT ... out !
