    Hey

I have a BBBB at home and I want to know how to determine which make it is without taking it apart - I understand there is a difference in the trigger mechanism and air tank size between the two makes, are there any external differences in the blaster or the packaging?

    Cheers in advance

How tense is the trigger pull? Gen1 usually has a stiffer feel. another quick way to tell is how many pumps does it take before you hear air escaping through the pump?

@Sniperdude49 - He doesn't want to open it.

Best way to do it is.

Gen 1. Takes about 8-9pump strokes to get OPV. Hard Trigger Pull

Gen 2. Takes about 4-5pump strokes to get OPV. Easy Trigger Pull.

Hey thanks for all the advice guys; it is a 2nd gen 4B, which I understand are slightly less desirable than the 1st gen. Ah well

    Cheers again

Gen 2 in a sense actually more 'war potential'. Due to the fact it has a smaller tank (get's more pressure quickly) and has a lever trigger (making it easier to pull). Gen 1 when you plug the pump, your trigger may actually break.
