    Hi Everyone

My son is turning 7 soon and in the past we have spent a fortune on bouncy castles or a play centre but he really likes Nerf (like me).
So we are going to go to a park and have a Nerf war with his friends.
We already have the safety gear, glasses and many XL boxes to use as cover etc.
But we are going to supply the guns for the kids to use.

    What would you recommend?

    We want them to be
    easy to load
    doesn't jam easily
    not too heavy
    Batteries or not?

Or maybe a mixture of them all

Best thing is I can have them afterwards and maybe reuse them in following parties

For a party, with many kids. I'd follow these requirements:

Something relatively cheap, the $ will add up.

A spring blaster.  Electric blasters will require cost of batteries.  Then after the party they be sitting around for weeks if not months.

Something with a clip system or revolver that does not have to be loaded after each shot.

I'd go with Strongarms. The are cheap $10 currently at Kmart and are an awesome blaster for the cheap price.

I agree with DLO01, I'd say Strongarms are the way to go. Cheap, good performance and nearly impossible to jam. Revolver blasters are probably best, because clip system is a little annoying if you only have one clip.

How many kids are you having at the party? Kmart has $20 strongarm x2 packs - which unless you can find an online retailer with a special - is the cheapest I've found them at.

I've got 28 of them that I use for running birthday parties and community group Nerf wars. I find they're the best middle ground between ammo and reliability.

Otherwise, Firestrikes are probably the next best bet. And get a 100 dart ammo box.
