So i took the ar out of my raider, but before i tested it i put about 3mm of adhesive foam on the back of the plunger so it would not damage the internals.
It shoots about 26 feet, help me

Get rid of the foam plus are you using stefans? Also you should learn to fix problems. When I modded my raider, I accidentally cut a 3cm gash in the plunger tube, but I dealt with it and fixed it. *hint hint*

Wait, Silicone spray wrecked the o-ring or did you use WD-40?

It was a silicone based lubricant.
It made to o ring expand and become useless

Silicone based lube is fine for nerf guns. I use it all the time, on all my guns, longshots, recons, mavs, nightfinders, everything.

You might find that when you put the two plunger parts back together that the o-ring was streched. This has happened to me before, and it stuffed my recon.

Not all Silicon sprays are compatable with rubber. Some can have addatives which will hurt the O rings.

If you can't find a O ring, you could get the recon O ring from Here
