Re: Aluminium nerf parts
Chris, I would like to post you the plunger arm for the vulcan, these a tearing in half on a horizontal plane of movement under the weight of the 25lbs spring i am using. I have looked at other ways to try to reinforce the arm, but the first failure point cant be reinforced on this arm. Just like to know what time frame your working on currently?

Re: Aluminium nerf parts
I think I'm down for 2 sleds Chris but I probably could do without one or both now if you don't have enough to meet the demand. I'll still take them if you have them allocated to me cause I don't want to leave you with excess stock.

Re: Aluminium nerf parts
For the Deploy plunger, is it including the rod?
Cause I only want the plunger tube. How much would it be?

Re: Aluminium nerf parts
Longshot sled
I finally got the sample and they work
LongShot sled
They just need to make a few changes then they can start making them
Depending what other parts were ordered with the sled I'll be sending them out soon after I finally get them

Re: Aluminium nerf parts
Hey, I was wondering if you can use the L-Part of an LS bolt-sled with the tail part of the stock gun? If so, how can you do it.
Thanks

Re: Aluminium nerf parts
You mean the aluminium L part?
It can done with some filing so it all fits together
Refer to the plastic tail part to get an idea of how it should for it to fit together
It's easier just to remove all the "safety" catches

Re: Aluminium nerf parts
Yeah 55 in total, hopefully they work as good as the sample they gave me
Would have taken me about 1yr to make that many
Now I can finally make the other associated parts people have ordered and send them out
Wont be long now

Re: Aluminium nerf parts
Nice work chrisb.
I'm interested in longshot parts. Can you tell me what is currently available and what is expected soon. I haven't read through the whole thread and the order page has pre-order for every item. I believe you may just have the sleds at this time, are they available for purchase now?
If so can I purchase one through the website order page now?
Thanks.

Re: Aluminium nerf parts
They cost me a bit to make, and a lot of time to organize it all
The L part of the sled is available now, if you want other parts you'll have to wait a little bit
For the longshot I also make the remaining tail part of the sled, the trigger catch and the rear plate of the plunger

Re: Aluminium nerf parts
WTF I'm pissed off
I gave them measurements
I gave them the aluminum parts I made
I gave them the stock plastic sled
They made a sample which was the correct size and worked
Then I get this shit
Left stock, middle is correct, right is their incorrect stuff

Re: Aluminium nerf parts
Yeh, that's pretty poor quality of workmanship. Aside from the colossal dimensions fcuk up, they haven't even bothered to dress the edges or anything.
Would've lasted 2 minutes in my workshop.
Feeling sorry for you dude.
