Write up: Nerf recon/M16

There has proboly been write ups like this before but recently i could find now instructions how to do it. After figuring it out myself here is what i did.

This is my first write up. Please tell me if i have done something wrong

Things you will need
phillps head screw driver( Make it a small one because nerf guns have small screws)
nerf recon barrel
PVC pipe Plactic tube ect. Any thing to re-barrel your recon



Method

Step 1.
Take your recon barrel


Unscrew all the screws in the barrel. Whats out for some of the springs in the tacticol rail. They can be lost very easy.


Step 2. Take out the stock barrel and put in the new one. If it dosn't fit nice and tight grind the barrel smaller or the barrel casing. Also keep in mind that it also has to be a tight fit into the plunger of the main unit. If it is not a tight fit. air will escape and you wan't have as much power




Step 4. Put the barrel back together and put all the screws back in.


Step 5.(optional)
You can make something like this to go on the top of your new barrel.

My dad helped me make it.

Once it is all together and if you included step 5 it will look like this

I am planning to paint this black. I will not take it out in public either.

I like the way it looks, good work.

You do realise that this mod will do nothing but reduce the range of your already pathetic ranged gun even further? Yes it looks very nice and milsimmy.

Obviously Chad. I just like the looks of it.

Definitely paint it black. Mod it then sleeve the barrel otherwise the darts will flop and carry on as they come out.

What do you mean bye that. I have modded it but can you please send me a PM giving details about this sleveing and other things?

looks good but its a bummer about the range/power reduction.
