Re: The Questions Thread.
Unless you did a mass order.
e.g.
1 tube $2 - shipping $10
10 tubes - $1 shipping per tube
I could be wrong as I don't have a lot of experience in shipping but I believe that's how it works.

Re: The Questions Thread.
Shipping often includes a weight component, so if shipping one tube cost $10, the overall cost of shipping 10 tubes would probably be more than $1 per tube.

Basically $10 is flat rate but we need to know how many tubes can be posted for that $10.

You would have to investigate further but once you maximise cost effectiveness you could probably get them for less than the $7 we pay.

Yeh and that would mean we'll have to buy a fair bit of it too. Still might be worth it.

Re: The Questions Thread.
If you bought 50 tubes I 'reckon you could sell them off easily especially if they were nice 'n cheap. We all need epoxy putty from time to time so it's not likes it's going to sit around forever.

Suspect you'd have to go for one of the bigger flat rate boxes for it to be worth it. I know mig's in Canada, but as an example USPS priority mail flat rate boxes are here:

Where is the most common place for a Titan to leak air?
Because mine has a leak, (You can hear the hiss) and I have a general idea* of where its coming from, but I can't seem to find the source.
*On the rear end of the air tank.

Put the tank in water while you pump.
Where the bubbles come from is where your leak is.

How much would I pay for postage on a NIB Triple Shot? I suppose it would be safe to say ten dollars?

You should be able to purchase them off Fishpond for $35 free postage. However, since it's an overseas purchase it may take up to 1month for it to be delivered to your door.

Fishpond isn't the place to shop from what I hear, and I saw someone saw them for $20, so it'd still work out five or more dollars cheaper.

Lol, technically there's no question there, man.
Longshot will own, after a lot of modifying. Stampede will go pretty good. PAS, maybe, but it'll be a while waiting around for it, and expensive. Maybe an air gun, BBUMB, 4B.

Yeah, I probably started that.Mozart wrote:Fishpond isn't the place to shop from what I hear, and I saw someone saw them for $20, so it'd still work out five or more dollars cheaper.
Got mine last week at Toys 'R' Us in Highpoint.
I'm not sure if there's any left in my area at this point in time, nor am I able to work out the postage.
It's going to be roughly $12 postage for between 500-1000g.
Of course, there's the unknown factor involved, due to the box dimensions, plus finding a suitable box to put it in (adds weight and dimensions), as you wanted it in NIB condition.
I don't think I will be able to help you out within this week though, Mozart.
I think there are folks here, who experienced how much the postage costs for it though.

Re: The Questions Thread.
Ohh, NIB isn't necessary, I don't know why I said that. Just new, not used. How much did you pay for yours?
Also, not interested in one right at the moment, probably in two or three weeks.
Thanks Mull.

Re: The Questions Thread.
Normally, $29.99 at TRU.
But the sale started last week, in which I got it for $19.99 ($10 off). BARGAIN!
I didn't check how long the sales period would be, however, even if it is a relatively long period, I doubt that the stocks will last.

Would PETG re-barelling on a BBUMB work? I remember hearing somewhere (I think it was littlebro) that you would have to nest it in another barrel. And, would ram-rodding be practical with it?

Should I drill out the AR in an Alpha Trooper? I read somewhere that AT's AR is actually not too bad?

Yeah, PETG will work fine. Ram ridding is never practical. To have it practical, nest it, which means wrap a few layers of electrical tape around it until it fits snugly into whatever pipe you're using, PVC, conduit, then glue around the inside of one end, on the outside of the PETG and the inside of the PVC. Then glue a coupler onto the blaster and vwolah. You now have a singled air blaster.
Any other questions, send me a PM.

I will try. Main problem is that i don't go there often (once a month or Every 2 weeks), and also because my dad is killjoy when it comes to buying more guns.
Btw i went back and checked the price of the brass. It's $7.50 for the 7/32 size.
You need to nest PETG into ORANGE 20mm conduit. What you do is cut out a section in the conduit, place the dart in it, and ramrod the PETG, so the dart hits the coupler and goes into the PETG.SydneyNerfer wrote:Would PETG re-barelling on a BBUMB work? If you have difficulties (lack of dremel, etc), i could commission you a clip accepting breech..

I personally don't like drilling out ARs, as it gets dodgy when your drill bit catches with the plastic in the tube. I use the good o'l screwdriver and hammer. It takes a while, but yeilds a cleaner result.

What does RSCB stand for?
Why would I want to single a gun?
What is a coupler and what's the point of it?
Is a +bow and actual thing that a company sells or do you have to make one from scratch?

I think RSCB stands for the initials of the people who came up of it.
Adding a coupler allows you to do many things. It's sort of a universal adapter. You can add barrels, RSCBs, hoppers etc
+bow is a crossbow. You can make it yourself (Usually done) or buy a Nerf Crossbow (almost impossible). Like I said +bow is just short for Crossbow.

RSCB are the initials of the people who helped create it, as far as I'm aware.
You want to single a blaster to get the absolute maximum power out of it. There are a few ways of doing this, brass slide breech being the most practical. Simply gluing on a barrel of PETG or whatever, the most impractical, as it requires ram roding the dart to the start of the barrel.

Ehh, actually not.
A crossbow (or xbow for short) was a design made by Nerf. This is a crossbow:
http://nerfguns.org/nerf-crossbow
They were discontinued and became very rare with prices to match. Captain Slug set out with the goal of designing a blaster similar to the crossbow, and made the +bow (Plusbow). The writeup for making a +bow is here:
http://www.captainslug.com/plusbow2.html
Pretty big difference between the two.
