Any pictures of internals by any chance? Or I'll move this into the pictures thread. It's interesting how different people link their triggers. So I'm just curious.

Is the tank expanded? Hard to believe a stock tank hits 190-220.

heavy tip, slight angle. streamlines get about 180ish.

I can confirm that a BBUMB RSCB can hit about 120-140ft flat. So I guess a singled one could hit much further.

Seriously? Mine only hits 70-80ish singled :S

@evozn, if you haven't plugged the pump, that sounds about the right ranges.

I did plug it? Takes round 6 pumps, my coupler recently fell off so I will check when I intergrate my tank.

You can get it up to 10 pumps. 12pumps and I'd get worried lol.

It becomes un-pumpable after 8, what if I replace it with the repco one?

Really? You just have to really push on the pump to get it pumping the air in.

When I think tank explosion, I'm thinking missing fingers and a massive piece of shell stuck between my eyes.

it will only explode like that if you put a bullet in the barrel instead of a dart...

you must be doing something wrong then. my ultimate strike which is basically just a singled bbumb will hit 170ft angled with no tank expansion, un-plugged pump, petg barrel, and the breech isnt even a 100% seal.
putting a bullet in it wont make it explode either. using the tank as a combustion chamber would though. kinda like putting a deodorant can in a fire.abowden wrote:it will only explode like that if you put a bullet in the barrel instead of a dart...

So... You've attached that rod to the plunger head? If so, apart from the obvious durability problems and the fact that a piece of PVC pipe shoots out the front of the blaster, wouldn't all the air escape out the bottom tee?

I think maybe the primer rod just pushes on the plunger until it catches and then you pull it forward again and this allows the air to escape the plunger. The rod would have an air-tight seal around it also so no air escapes out of it.

At least he tried. Luke you probably didn't see that PETG barrel. So that's how it's an RSCB. A nerfer of your experience should have at least seen that.
You could probably do better with a longer PETG barrel though. Make that priming part of your blaster shorter. If you guys didn't notice but all those assumptions you made about it not being air tight. If it was even remotely not air tight, the dart would fire like 2 metres lol.

I would make that priming rod shorter though. Or else you're likely to knock someone in the face with that.
