I'm invin.

I caught the infection off a mate a number of weeks ago after seeing his Maverick...

A few exchanges of ideas later, we both lost our Nerf'ing minds and from there it became an obsession.

My arsenal and what I've been up to - the discreet to the ridiculous.
Silent Strike - Just for the lols.
Scout - Yet to mod, but I LOVE this little thing!
Nite Finder - WIP - AR mod + 836 Spring. POWER in a pistol.
Maverick - AR + 5c coin (penny) + Russian Roulette mods.
Barricade - Nothing yet, Voltage boost and new barrel to come.
Hornet - Yet to mod.
Recon - WIP - AR Mod,added NF spring
Longshot - WIP - AR mod, 836 spring, Reinforced parts.
Volcan - Looking for ways to fully replace internals.

Titan - WIP - Going the extra mile with this one and hopefully fire at that range too hehe.
Overpressure release plugged, New 3mm Aluminium barrels:
Slimline 12"+26", Whistlers 12"+26" and stock rocket barrel.
Much MUCH more to come for this, a longstrike may end up being involved with this mod... but thats for another time.

I suggest you not to use the c836 spring in the longshot. Sincei t's a little too short, you're already losing much power and putting unnecessary stress on the plunger head. You're choice on whether you'd want it in there or not.

Over Pressure Valve titans are also banned at pretty much 100% of Nerf Wars due to the nature of it's large volume. However, if you're going to put an air compressor in it, we'd only let you go up to about 30PSI. Any higher than that and if the organiser catches you, the organiser will probably ban you from using any air gun all together since we need to see if you're trustworthy. You could be a complete ass and shoot someone at pointblank (like liam_skywalker did, 13YO, and now he's banned from using any AIRGUN, or anything that shoots too strong). However, that's just a free ticket of making yourself look bad to the already established community. So don't make yourself look like a typical 12YO who'd think it would be cool to shoot someone at pointblank and it is funny.

Haha, I hope you were being sarcastic because it really isn't. Especially with the stefans we use to shoot with them. Totally not cool at all. If you were being serious, you have a mind of a dicky 12YO too lol.

I totally agree with you littlebro05 on the C836 spring.
The C836 spring as you said doesn't fit well in the longshot and doesn't feel right. I'm always on the lookout for parts that I can improve my Nerf guns with, even if the current ones are effective.

As for 12YO's running around with OP valve modded Titans shooting foam darts at people...

This is the closet thing I have come to, that takes very little effort to become a serious hazard on the battlefield. I'm 25. If you think from that post, I would seriously take this to a Nerf War with the intention of shooting someone with it. Well hmmm...
I can tell you I sure as hell don't want to be shot by it, so I'm puzzled thinking why I would shoot someone with it. At best it's useful for those "WOW!" reactions and scaring off the odd annoying bird early on a Saturday morning, after a big night.

It's simply one of those "let's see how far" projects. But I appreciate your concern for safety.

LOL! I told that exact thing "It soudns like more of a 'project on, "OH SHIT, let's see how far it goes'. Here's an interesting fact for you. The titan can handle up to 120PSI. Phuonguyen has tested it with his compressor titan, and I shit you not, the dart just penetrates the cardboard like there's no tomorrow.

If you ant more kick from your Longshot, check here.
Search "nerf" into the search bar to find most of the nerf gear they have to offer. Go into "replica guns -> foam guns" on the right hand side to find afew different things that arent listed in the nerf search results. For your LS I recommend a 'v2' spring, they are pretty muuch the best that australia has to offer.
You will however need to reinforce your bolt sled, check the modifications directory for Littlebro05's sled reinforcement,or if your a high roller, look in the modifications section for the topic titled "aluminium nerf parts",createdby the user chrisb and purchase one of his sleds machined from a solid blick of aluminium (these things can pull a 1T ute op a driveway so there going to hold every spring you can fit in there :P)
I would also recommend getting the "metal parts for nerf longhsot" on black tactical, as this included a trigger catch and 'mickey mouse' piece (the odd shapes piece on the back of your plunger). Both made from solid aluminium.

with these parts,your longshot will be pretty muched covered from any parts breaking, weill and of the important ones anyway :))
