Anyway here it is what you need:
- 20mm Conduit Coupler
- E-Tape
- Hot Glue
- An O-Ring
- Bunnigns C-836 Spring
- Dremel/Rotary tool with Metal cutting disk and sanding bit
- An Upgrade catch spring (look in bunnings spring section for a small spring suitable because i cant remember the name for what i used)
- A Hacksaw
- A Drill
- Teflon-Tape
oh yeah... A Nitefinder
Ok, lets get started:
First off grab your Nitefinder and take out all the screws and dont forget the battery cover!
Now you've got it open take out the light and the battery contacts.
Now unscrew the screws from the plunger-tube and take it out and cut the top off like shown.
Now grab your drill and drill out the Air-Restrictors as to make it look like this. Now you may be wondering... why not take it all apart like many other write-ups say? well the answer is because they are welded together and yes you can break them apart but it is much stringer with it all together and you don't have your Nitefinder falling apart during wars which mine have done.
Now Wrap it in E-Tape and glue your Coupler on. NOTE: make sure you glue it on the tighter end so when using your barrel and/or speedloader, it is easier to put in and out
Now to minimize the shell, cut it like this (if you want) and then dremel out the shell to fit the coupler. and yes mine is mesy cause I effed it up and had to fix it. So make sure you take care and do it right!!!!!
Now Grab your C-836 Spring and cut of about 2 Loops of one end with a dremel and metal cutting disk.
Mmmmmm Pretty Sparks... Also Note: These Wont hurt you or set fire to anything From the C-836 Spring Anyway
Now Grab your Plunger Rod and take everything on it apart and get the rod itself. and fill in these gaps with hotglue.
Now get your plunger-head and wrap it 2 Times with Teflon tape and then put the original O-Ring on and another one on. Where do you egt the O-Ring from? either another Nitefinder or an O-Ring kit, which is where i got mine from.
Now put the plunger-rod back together with the Catch and don't forget to upgrade the catch spring!!, ht C-836 Spring and the Plunger Head and don't forget to Lubricate the Plunger head or it'll fail.
Now to Pad the Plunger Head, I use some Anti-Slip Pads for furniture and then i cut it to size and glue it on.
Now Put it all back togeather and your Done!!
You Now have a nice Nitefinder that shoots 60+ft!! But to do this you need the right Dart-Barrel Combination
If you Use Clark-Rubber or Bianco White FBR you can use 16mm Aluminum As it is a Nice Fit Nest that in 20mm Conduit adn you ready to go Note: The Bianco Foam can be very dependent in its size and i have found that it works best in 16mm Conduit.
But not many people use that FBR cause, well I don't really know lol but if you use CDDT's, Blue Foam The you want to use PETG or 16mm Conduit Nested into 20mm Conduit.
I Personally use 16mm Conduit whit mine and it hit 60+ feet so yeah there you have it a now rockin' Nitefinder now go have fun!
