The mod itself is very simple and should work on any reverse plunger blaster.
The biggest problem with R/P blasters from what I can gather is the void behind the dart. By reducing this dead space and preventing the air compression (and therefore lower air velocity) between pulling the trigger and the dart breaking the seal in the barrel.
The Recon I used for this mod was already hitting 40' with an A/R removal and preloaded spring.
As you can see in the following picture there is a lot of dead space in the tube.
Now to rectify this problem.
First up identify where the A/R was located and mark it.
Then measure and cut a piece of small tubing to fit between your mark and the back of the tube( I used 10mm O/D 1mm wall alloy tubing)
Then using tape, grommets, silicon or expanda foam fix the tubing in to the center of the plunger tube flush with the base.
Big difference
Allow to cure/set, re-assemble and keep out of reach of children
Edit: Don't forget the plunger padding if you have removed your A/Rs. This applies to all R/P blasters.
