    Hey guys,

So I was thinking today, the aluminium tube that the multi-vatimin tablets "Berocca" come in actually looks around the same size as the Nerf Recon plunger chamber. If it is then this would be good because it makes a cheap easy alternative to buying a metal internals.

The only problem is I don't have a Recon and can't find the circumference for the plunger chamber so if somebody would be ever so kind and post it for me I could look at making a potential metal internal piece.

Oh by the way the circumference for the Berocca tube is 7.5cm give or take.

Do you mean that its 7.5 cm wide or long?

If you mean wide, then definitely not. the plunger tubes are only around 2 or so cm wide.

It's the circumference, the distance around the tube/circle.

Sitras, How to you plan on making the small nubs on the tube?

@ Unknown: I know what circumference is, I was just asking in case he made a mistake.

Yeah, had a bit of a derp there.

To reiterate: How wide is the chamber?

(P.S. Imagine a reverse plunger system with a 7.5cm wide plunger tube)

I was speaking to sitras on skype just a while ago and he told me the diametre is about the size of a 20cent coint. Which means it should fit. I have a 50mL syringe tube I was meaning to fix up for the plunger.

Even if it wasn't a perfect fit, it would only be a matter of using a thicker (or thinner) oring wouldn't it?

It still has to fit into the shell and slide along the guide rails.

It would be great if it works though.

Ok, well i have established, the Berocca tube is too big, i mean, way too big its circumference is something like 1.5cm more than the recons so it's too big to put a thicker O-ring in as well. My mistake.

On the other hand, i've put the idea out there, now i'm sure somebody else will find something smaller than the Berocca can.

Perhaps "Pocket Rocket" energy drink cans will do the trick?

Don't ask how I know about those. (My smuggling days are over)

I do remember one of the NerfSG guys made a replacement plunger tube out of an old cigar holder once . . .
