At last! A use for those useless tac-rail attachments that come with the recon or longshot! This write-up is for two things, an SSPB attachment and a variety of different style sights.

    You will need:
    A longshot scope
    An SSPB
    3cm of 17/32 OR 9/16 brass
    Hot-glue gun

First take your SSPB and your LS scope.

Take out all the screws of both parts then open the SSPB up and remove it's internals, then use your screwdriver to pry open the LS scope to remove the clip.

Now take the clip and remove those two screws, then line up two of the holes over top of these and put the screws back in like so.

Now for the removal of the orange stick thing for stefan compatibility. Take your drill and carefully remove the orange piece.

Now take your 3cm piece of brass and jam it in as far as it will go without bending or breaking. Seal it with hot glue.

Now for some examples of possible removable sights, all made by taking the top yellow piece off of the top of the clips from the recon attachments and slipping some pieces of plastic underneath.

The SSPB attachment should make integrations a snap! It will work best on blasters with a side tac-rail such as a stampede or vulcan. The brass creates a far better seal in the gun and allows it to shoot nearly 14m using blue foam darts.

An interesting idea I've toyed with on occasion, execpt I've noticed that the SSPB doesn't seem to hold it's air for very long. If you want it's range, you've really got to pump it, stick the dart in and then fire.

Although, food for thought, imagine mounting a tac rail clip to the side of a nitefinder and sticking that on the side rail of the Stampede.

    Hmm interesting concept. Improved crossfire?
