We are confirmed for Sunday 17th April, pending the shitty weather.

Bloody hell that's a long way.
Actually, no, it's not; according to Google Maps, it's only just over an hour from here. That's not much more than travelling to work in Mulgrave in peak hour on a weekday, and at that hour on a Sunday it should be pretty empty.
Confirming that me and Brunius are coming, and possibly two other kiddies.
I'll bring my blasters, but not sure at this stage if I'll be playing; having a lot of trouble with my knees this week.

If I'm one of those, I don't think I'll make it. I'm may be going away and it's still a fair distance to go anyway.whichgrep wrote:Bloody hell that's a long way.

No no no no no...
There isn't a war on the 26th now that I have fully confirmed the date.
Also, I have a feeling that I may feel very tired tomorrow and I may not war. I'll just umpire the matches.

Uh-oh...
It seems that one of the park rangers decided to ring me now regarding our use of foam ammunition on national park land. I don't see why they insisted on ringing me this late, but...
I'm as bitter as, man.
We'll see how this goes. If it's a no-go I'll update then. I will hopefully be on tonight while I'm on break at work, sometime around the 8pm mark.

Damn that sucks...
I asked a few months ago and it was fine, although it was 6 months ago.

Unfortunately, the war will need to be postponed until further notice. The park ranger waas reluctant at this stage given the use of our foam ammunition possibly affecting the wildlife. Yeah right... At this stage, if future wars are to be held in Brimbank Park, there will need to be a fortnight notice before we can actually war there to ensure all our goods are safe to use. I will be meeting with the officials in the next week to disclose information about our hobby and convince them that a war is viable on the land. I do apologise to everyone who looked forward to the war.
I'll take this oppotunity now to devise a war game type utilising barriers and cover and such. You all should use this moment to get your blasters in shape. Until then, stay sharp.

How about you just move the war to a different park like Wattle Park,Ruffey Lake Park or Bundoora Park?
