The fact that we've had to spoon-feed you with every minute detail from springs to how to follow a video tutorial, makes it appear highly unlikely that you'll be able to produce a commission of high enough quality to be able to sell. Sorry, but you're in my territory. You obviously don't seem to demonstrate any understanding of the blaster from the general stuff down to the very minute details to even make a bold statement in offering commissions for the Triple Shot. Especially when someone asks pointless questions without reading and doing research beforehand...

Good luck with your project; if you run into difficulties PM me.

@dcman: So, will your gun not cock all the way back? In this case your padding is too thick, simply make sure it is about 1-2 mmm thick.

For anyone wanting to a tempt an octoshot:

Just watch MIG's tutorial and go for it. I found that it's not much harder than your average quadshot. If your not confident try a quadshot first and then convert it.

Heey all. Does anyone know of any ball pump brands or the like that have a sort of check valve inside? Or don't leak?

    Thanks.

Pumps, like plungers, can be made airtight with the correct amount of tampering.

I've heard things about a dual action ball pump with a repco branding, allegedly sold at big W. I say allegedly as i've never been able to find one :/ (WTB anyone?)

Its ok now Night Stalker fixed it. He found a washer in his kit and padded it by chopping dart foam and attaching it to the end of the plunger.

But sometimes it keeps on jamming. Is that just a recon thing?

A picture of the attachment point would be far more helpful in us being able to tell you how to fix it.

Is it too loose or too tight?

It's a fairly common problem with normal scopes not fitting on the tactical rail. Generally they're too wide. Try adding a strip of plastic to the rail to make it a bit wider.

It was firing great before (AR out, Re-lubed) and i opened it up to reinforced and pad it.

I've checked that its aligned properly, and by my view, it is..

Help is VERY MUCH appreciated, Thanks!

Ok, so I just chucked a coupler on my NF. I'm now finding that whenever I fire it, the darts veer to the upper right. There's no visible kink in the alignment - it looks to be aligned alright. Any ideas? I'm using streamlines, so if that affects it, that might be it.

Derp, I know not to use streamlines. But what are the chances that every dart for 10 darts is gonna veer to the same place? Low, IMO. I've turned the gun up-side down and fired it, and it veered to the bottom left, so I'm fairly confident it's not the streamlines.

Modifying the streamlines is simple and its worth it. I cut the tops off mine and put a small washer in where the air pocket in the top used to be then hot glued them. I only have a stock raider and deploy but I'm getting 15ft extra from each dart and I get less than 1ft spread over the total 30 or so feet. If you have the streamlines, use them for a decent reason i say

Which blaster would be the best one for me to get next? I've rushed out and just bought them lately and I have paid for my mistakes with 2x reverse plungered blasters (raider and deploy) While these guns are alright, I want something that will shoot darts further than 30 or 40 ft.

I don't want to get any thing battery powered because you have 2 things to worry about, running out of darts or a flat battery or possibly both.

Any help would be awesome guys

    cheers

No they're not but you can attach a clip accepting breech but that's a different story. They are great for wars. Although, if you've got the cash an overhauled LS is pretty epic.

Triple-shots tend to be singled, and use a four barreled turret. The octoshot uses an 8 shot turret, but deviates considerably from the standard tripleshot design.

I refer you to the illustrious Silent Scope for Triple Shot modding.

Do you mean.. buy stock.. or buy from someone?

Yeah.. an LS or a TS if you want range. Unless you go for one of those classic air tank guns with turrets (AT2K, 3K, SM1.5K)
