I've had a C-836 not fit in one of my Nf's. Just try another spring and/or plunger tube.

@ unknown Thats intresting as the c836 that was in my old nitefinder had quite a decent amount of room. It may be that there are more then one brand each with their own dimensions.

Tape/Seal question.
Do I necessarily have to use E-tape on a seal? Can I use PVC or masking tape?
Thanks

A full k26, length? Would the id fit 16mm conduit? Would the od be larger than a grey 20mm conduit coupler? And what's the load strength of it?

O-Ring Grease?
NO.1: A good (Cheap) O-Ring grease and also is Vaseline possible?
NO.2: On a Nitefinder Seal should I use Teflon Tape OR E-Tape?
And Finally, NO.3: How do I reinforce a Nitefinder? (I've checked on google, but no 'proper' guides have come up)
Thanks ;D

Re: The Questions Thread.
^^
1: Don't use Vaseline,
2: I usually double o ring it with a couple of wraps of etape under the rings
3: Pad the plunger head, and also just epoxy around underneath the plunger head. Some people also go the extra mile and drill a long, thin screw down the center of the plunger head to replace the small, existing one.

1: Your best bet would be Hydro-Seal tap lubricant, Fix-a-Tap tap lubricant or if you want to go real classy buy some 'SUPER LUBE'
Hydro Seal is slightly more expensive than Fix a tap but you get a great amount more however Fix a tap is slightly better in terms of lubing. Both can be found in the plumbing section of Bunnings.
Super Lube is one of the best lubes you can get but isn't easy to find, super lube is also quite pricey compared to Hydro seal and fix a tap.
2: Either one will work but teflon tape is much thinner allowing you to get more precise wraps and it will be less likely for you to go over board and add to much to the point where the O ring wont fit in the plunger tube.
However E-tape has an adhesive side which will help when your applying the tape to plunger head.
I hope this helps

Re: The Questions Thread.
I use tap grease, the rule of thumb for tap grease is, if it's clear or white, its alright, and you can get it from almost any hardware store with a plumbing section.

For a ring catch, does the spring have to be super strong or would just any spring work?

If it was PVC than yes, even though it is a tight fit through the opening in the ball, I use one for my RSCB aswell.

Re: The Questions Thread.
A better way is to wrap your 15mm in e-tape slide over and glue a piece of 20mm then attach a 20mm ball valve overwise all your darts will be cut by the closing 15mm ball valve.

I think it's time for you to do your own independent research and go to bunnings yourself. I can't remember what size PVC ball valve I bought, but what I did was bring my own dart and see if it fits through or not. Alot of these questions you're asking you could actually do your own research. Don't be lazy about it. Thanks.
