    100ft N-strike AT2K attachment - Write-up Empty 100ft N-strike AT2K attachment - Write-up

    Post  melbnerf619 Sat Sep 17, 2011 3:10 pm

    Hey Guys,

Before I start, I'm going to annoy you all by giving you some background about how I came to this. I've seen heaps of people intergrate titans, mavericks, AT2k's, LSFGs and other guns under the LongShot. But I want a pump action LongShot and I can't have both, So I came up with this......

    100ft N-strike AT2K attachment - Write-up 110

This is an Air Tech 2000 Intergrated into a LongShot scope attachment. It shoots 100ft and can be attached onto any N-Strike Rail without fail.

To make this, you will need.
    -AT2K internals
    -15mm coupler
    -Barrel material of choice
    -Form of wire
    -Keyring or O-Ring
    -E-Tape
    -Screwdriver
    -Dremel

First you'll need to get the A$$hole of a scope open.
To do this, I just cut down through the centre of one side but the other one came off with some effort of pull.

    100ft N-strike AT2K attachment - Write-up 210
    100ft N-strike AT2K attachment - Write-up 310

I kept in the goo-gage without the fluid because I'm really lazy. But to keep it, i had to cut through the shell here,

    100ft N-strike AT2K attachment - Write-up 410

    And here,

    100ft N-strike AT2K attachment - Write-up 510

So that was the shell. Now for the internals.
All you have to do is epoxy a 15mm coupler on the front,
Attach the wire to the firing pin (I used the wire off my dad's whipper-snipper)
And if you want, Plug the Over pressure valve.

    100ft N-strike AT2K attachment - Write-up 710

    100ft N-strike AT2K attachment - Write-up 810

Now you have a beastly N-Strike attachment that goes over 100ft easily. You can put this on a NiteFinder or a Proton or a LongShot or any other gun with an N-Strike rail. I used a 5" 16mm Conduit barrel because I don't want any d*ck-waving on my attachments.

    -Thank you guys,
    James

Why not take the goo gauge off? Anyway good job. This also works really well with a recon light.

I actually don't know how to and it's actually doing a good job of holding up my pump off to the side.

Yeah nice job. Would be fun surprising someone with that in a war, when they think you've just got a longshot. lol

Just a Longshot! I'm disgusted. Kidding.
This is awesome, especially the fact how you can put it on anything, nice work

    Thanks man.

What's better is that people think your a retard when you have a proton with a longshot scope and they get caught out and they think WTF?

I guess the only things I can add is that perhaps you could paint it to make the "camouflage" a bit better.

Also I think you can remove the goo gauge by actually having to cut it off from the tank.. or use hot water. It'll take a bit more effort, but what I'd do (and mind you, I'm quite noob in modding i.e. I want things done immediately) I'd just wrap the goo gauge in camouflage colours.

I'd just get scared of the air seal when i take out the goo gauge because i've had previous incedents where I bought a $70 unity set for the titan and ended up with a leek because i messed around with it too much and no form of glie would recover it.

Meh I like it like this anyway.

It's technically original if it wasn't inspired by anything imo. I know this incident that happened in a spudding community when this guy 'invented' a particular design, and some guy already got to it. He had an argument, but got owned because the dates of when he 'posted it up' on the forums compared to the dates posted upon youtube were different in the youtuber's favour.

I've actually seen the mod before - but seeing as Melbnerf didn't really claim to being the "first ever" or the "original", I didn't want to ruin his thread by bringing down his idea.

Then again I haven't really seen detailed mod guides for this, until now. So kudos
