Here are a bunch of my rebuilds of various nerf guns and some footage of reaping hell with them!

    LONGSHOT Build:

I ordered a longshot from clunk in late August but was not expecting delivery until the end of September. The urgent to shoot a brass breech became too much one day so
after a few hours of stuffing around with a dremel, super strong araldite and a drill I concocted the below! I elected to keep it to one spring so this one could be used indoors.

Parts: BT V2 Spring, BT O-Ring, BT Metal Parts, K&S Brass, BT Silicone Grease, OZNerfNerd Boltsled Alloy Sheets.

    STAMPEDE Rebuild:

Parts: OzNerf Nerd Spring, Jaycar 12v SLA Battery.

Photo's to be uploaded from camera.

    Footage:

Here is a link to a raid on my local spare parts store with one of the modified fully automatics, it's using the crappy stock darts so they are not firing accurate.

Looks good mate - you may want to consider adding more upgrades to the Stampede, in terms of the catch spring and other things that might break down to the motorized capacity of the blaster.

and with the Vulcan, a spring upgrade or addition would make it so much more powerful I think I chucked in a LSFG spring, hits about 45 feet flat with 8G snap caps - and practically no one shoots Vulcan's flat, so that's 50-55 feet automatic shots

    Thanks for the tips man!

I was not entirely confident when I was pulling apart the Vulcan as it was the first gun I had toyed with, but I think I'll take your tip with the LSFG spring and I'll post the results.

Good point out with the catch spring, the BT upgrade kit came today and I was wondering what else I could do whilst I was in there.

A mate broke his stampede and left it here, i'm half way thru building a brass breech for it and I am pretty confident I should have it finished in the next couple of weeks.

I'm curios how its going to fire and if I'll be able to get a decent ROF.

Did you mean you finish all the brass breech and aluminium reinforcement boltsled work in your Longshot in just a few hours? You are a super fast worker. Either that or I'm a super slow worker.

I spent alot of time as a kid making parts for this shitty nitro RC car that my parents got me. The local hobby store couldn't source parts for it, so I often found myself at the brass tube display looking for similar size materials to concoct a replacement lol.

No worries man, let me know how you go, cause I have done the spring upgrade mod, removed the AR and improved the seal with teflon tape - initially I was daunted by the extra amount of screws, but I think with caution and a laptop of Vulcan internal shots beside me I was able to do it.

But I wanna ask, how much did the SLA upgrade cost you, include the wiring and I suppose you have a charger with that?

The vulcan is pretty underestimated. I found a decent spring, but I've noticed that you can get springs from such blasters as the Tek 6, AZDB and replace it in the vulcan.

The plunger tube is relatively small in the vulcan too, so it's abit hard to find springs for. However, the vulcan IMO is a rush weapon, if you can get automatic maverick modded ranges... that's definitely a win.

Just found myself impressed to smash a schooner glass from about 10 metres away with the long shot lol.

Thought to myself, I can't hit that! Ha sure I can!

With well made darts you'll find yourself hitting a head sized target (or shoe hey lefty? :p) from 15-20m away pretty consistently, as long as you're comfortable with the lack of sights.

You make a good point, I have found that with informers heavy sil's it's pretty good.

I have noticed clunk mentions washers + snap caps, whats your favourite recipe?

I prefer clunk's darts (or a similar weight) for performance, but sili's are becoming pretty standard (easier to make lol) so I shoot with those at home for practice/lulz.
