Remember, remember, the 5th of November. V For Vendetta. Actually my favourite movie.

That movie messed with my head in regards to government.

Conspiracy theories make a great basis for a movie plot because those that Govern us have been keeping at least some aspect of the truth from us since time immemorial...

28 days/weeks later, the Resident Evil series, Dawn of the Dead and The day after tomorrow certainly made me stop and think about how life (as we know it) is such a fragile thing.

Exactly what I thought when I came across that title... some movies just seem to be a vehicle for seriously twisted (disturbed) minds...

There is a second one comming out. It has more people in it.

I think the second movie is based on some guy trying it in real life.

Toxic Avenger 2 (banned film in Australia) I was an avid bicycle rider and was about 12yo when i saw this film, it begins with a hit run on a boy riding his bicycle, then the car reverses over the boys head, to make sure the kid was dead! I still cant get that out of my head!

Acla... Based on the sulphur mines in Italy, where poor families sold their kids to the mines, the film shows this abuse in graphic detail.

There that will save you from ever watching either of those 2 films.

The Toxic Avenger was totally deranged, but funny as #$%^!

You're the only bloke I heard of who's seen it.

My mates and I went through a phase of watching movies from that company "Tromaville" and they were all like that.

I'm certainly not surprised that it got banned in Australia.

The movie that really bothered me was the first "Evil Dead".

I was something like 13-14 yo and was sleeping over at a mates place.

His older brother put it on (no parental supervision) and it scared the shit out of me for weeks...

I was a similar age when I saw it too, then came the sequels with the last (Army of Darkness) being the epitome of the entire series with Bruce Campbell achieving the best mix of dark humour, horror, one liners and an interesting plot (previous plots were a little weak IMHO).
