Have tried, I found a little fat spring but clumsiness lost that and I have had a few males try to pull it and it doesn't work!!

As I said have you cut off some more coils, maybe there are too many coils so it cant compress

It is the equivalent size to my NF spring so this is quite strange then...

The length isn't the issue, it's the length at full compression.

Yep, the spring is thicker than the NF so he length dosent exactly help you have to know what length it compresses at as Jeo said.

I may cut off more coils but it is still strange that people say to cut 2/3 coils off when it can be more....
But anyway thank you both. So I just cut another coil off?

Don't want to definitively say yes or no. You should only have to cut off 2-3 coils from a C836, but it should be fairly obvious if it doesn't fit. Stupid questions, but are you sure you got a C836? What are you defining as a coil? Any chance of some photos?

I did not have to cut any coils off my C836 to fit in the NF
Took a bit of effort to get it in. Still working after plenty of use.
do you have the plunger up the right way?

I bet the spring is an 826 basically the same as an 836 but it's about 20kg or there abouts, nasty thing that it is you will never ever pull it back. Due to the wire diameter it's compressed height is more than a 836 I got caught out once doing what you are with a NF.

Also I am modding a shotblast, should I keep the stock pump? (mine takes 2-3 pumps to go up to fire) I am adding a HC bladder to it.

Much like the maverick mods. the Plunger seal improvement means that less air escapes due to a bad seal and more air gets pushed to the dart. The turret to plunger seal is the same thing basically. You will notice a little gap between where the darts are and the end of the plunger tube where the air comes out. Improving this means less escaped air and more air to the dart. The barrel drop just allows the turret where the darts are loaded to come out of the gun further.

I find that it takes about 5minutes (so once you've mixed it, you got 5 minutes to use it) for it set. For the putty to get full density, it takes about an hour.

Although it can be done with a variety of materials, even PETG but brass is more ideal as it is more are tight for the dart than aluminium, PETG etc...

Has anyone had success using HPA hosing or similar as an airtank? I've seen someone post a bbumb with the pump replacement piping acting as a tank expansion so I think it should work. I feel more comfortable with rubber hose and hose clamps than barbs and adhesives, so that's why I ask.
