Triple shot singled mod + trigger catch fix! and the 9th click mod

Sorry for the quality of the photos

Your going to need:
e-tape
Lanard Triple shot
Random plastic
and this thing:


First your going to open up the triple shot:

Take this out Ignore the putty:

Now grab some wire cutters and cut the red lines yuou jusr making room for the coupeler:


Now remove the little spring on the trigger catch and fill it with hot glue:


Then the other side:


Now re-enforce the shell with some epoxy putty on both sides like so:


now get the coupler from the splat blast and put it on the end of the plunger tube if it falls off turn it around and put it on:


now wrap some petg in e-tape so it fits tightly inside the coupler:



Now if your trigger catch is broken heres how to fix it:

Cut a 2cm random piece of plastic off something:


then place it on the cracked part and tightly wrap it in e-tape:

Now for the illusive 9th click:

Now I was too lazy to get out my dremmel since it is air compressed and all so I just used this:


Now your gonna want to dremmel (or cut) back here(Remember to do this to both sides):


then dremmel or cut this post (Remember to do this to both sides):


(Remember to do this to both sides)Make a slide extension and shape it with the slide (this is optional if your singling it or not):


And cut down this post:


Now go to the handle and cut all this out of the rear side of it:


If youve done it correctly you should get the 9th click!

Then put it all back together then your done:

other than invest in a better camera and a tripod. its a decent write-up =)

Also. After getting the 9th click. The ranges and power have no noticable increase.

wouldnt it be cheaper to just buy a 20mm pvc coupler and 1m of pvc to nest your petg in then to buy a splat blaster to destroy?

Maybe your barrel length/dart weight/plunger friction were limiting factors. An extra half inch of plunger volume and compression of the spring can't just return no benefits.


Feedback for OP. Don't use hot glue. Fill that catch with epoxy putty. Your electrical tape repair for the catch is a recipe for disaster; epoxy the plastic to the catch at least. Use a pvc/conduit coupler so you can use Speedloaders,RSCB, Hoppers etc.

well it works

No offense mate, but the 'well it works, so it's fine' attitude won't get you far in Nerf. You'd be surprised at how many people pride themselves on quality and end up being better modders because of it. If you keep on going with a makeshift approach to your mods, I can absolutely guarantee you'll have breakages somewhere along the line. The mods nice, but I wouldn't feel confident running with a blaster with any of it's essential parts held together with e-tape.
