Ok, something which I think gets overlooked a little,
How do you guys carry your Secondary weapon in a battle while using your Primary?

Having a second weapon in a battle can be so cumbersome that I usually just leave it out.

I own a bandolier so when I have one, I just have my secondary (usually a pistol like a maverick) clipped onto the ends of that.
But running around, the gun flies around a lot and is quite awkward.

So, what is your regular secondary?
how do you like to carry it?
Any good tips, mods or ideas?

    A holster is the key.

I carry my Rayven on a bandolier strap. One hook at the front and one on there rear, tighten strap a bit so its not loose and banging around as you maneuver.

I would like a holster for my nightfinder(s) and possibly another strap for my recon.

I carry my Recon using the Deploy carry strap. I'm a little on the short side for a 12 yr old so I have to remove the BE so it doesn't bounce against my legs.

You got a deploy carry strap? I never did dammit. I got the "White Out" Series and didnt get a strap. Bugga. I am thinking if getting a bunch of weapon straps from the net imported.

I got it with the regular Deploy. You don't get a strap with the clear and Whiteout ones.

Lives on the ground back at the starting point. Nuts to running with another blaster on my person.

    Hah, good call Jeo.

I've also experimented with a carry strap on my Recon and have it strapped to my back,
but it gets in the way of my bandolier and occasionally I'll end up lying on my back, which isn't the most comfortable idea.

My housemate uses a tactical vest, which seems to work fine.
Plus it fits a barrel break really nicely and it looks bad ass when you draw it.
But I'm just not ready to commit to wearing a tactical vest into a nerf war.

How people actually use proper holsters? and how much are they?
Anything bigger than a Night Finder is too hard to fit into a pocket, it always flies out when I'm bolting for it.

I don't think I'd get much more luck out of cargo pants.

Thanks for all your input so far!

I am wondering if I can get a holster for my Recon That would be great on my right thigh. NF on left tigh or chest.. i am too big for a tact vest I am sure. Havent seen one in real life but i am no skinny 10 year old thats for sure.

Real tac vests are designed to fit adults, so no issues there.

Holsters only really work for single shot pistols, or mavericks if you can find a particularly large one.

Surprisingly, the Nerf tactical vests are actually quite large.
They fit me pretty easily and I'm 28, and somewhat hefty.
Unfortunately, they don't make a hefty 28 year old look any cooler

But the tactical vests are adult sized.

I have a gun strap coming in, and will be looking at a holster for my Recon.
If anyone is interested, this apparently fits a Recon (or so the seller says, also no it's not me).

I carry two holsters on my right leg (Mav and minimised NF/Stormfire/Tectarget). Both came from Deal Extream for under $15.
Not the best setup if you like to run but as I can't run for real long its not an issue for me.
I am working on a spine holster for my Doubleshot.
