Wow these things have a very long name. The longer named something the more awesome they are. And these things deliver the awesome in spades.
Enough of the witty banter and lets plow straight into it.
You will need:
A Spider-man Vs. Venom dart tag blaster (Well der)
x1 17/32 K&S brass tube
Electrical Tape
2 Part Epoxy glue
Plastic and rubber safe Lubricant
And the tools
Screwdriver
Something to cut the brass tube (Hacksaw or Dremell)
A half round file (to clean up the brass cuts)
Here it is in all of its stock glory. with its 30 feet flat ranges. I'm using the spider-man one. Venom, bad guy. He naughty.
Remove the 4 screws on the underside to get into the tube hell
On the back of the trigger is this screw, which controls the over pressure relief valve. tighten it a few turns, so you can increase the max pressure. I thightned it enough to now hold 22 pumps instead of 15.
Now you will want to get into the pump. remove the grey cap. It'll slide off
check the pump and see if it has enough lubricant. Mine had none at all. thats bad! The heat from the friction when pumping will kill this gun. Lube it up and your good to go.
You will need to remove the 4 screws here.
and this screw
Pop out those air restrictors. you will not need the old barrels as well. If you don't have brass, you could just put it back together now without the AR's. But stop being cheap goddammit! Mo money, Mo ranges!
Cut your self 3, 4 inch (10cm) pieces of K&S 17/32 brass tubing. then wrap 6 turns of Electrical tape on one end.
Stick them into where the holes where the barrels used to be. and glue them in with Epoxy glue. making sure to coat the whole joint for a air tight seal.
On a side note, Hep20 leap and 16mm Aluinimum tube won't fit straight into those holes. If you want to use that stuff instead, you may need to do a bit of sanding.
You can test the gun without it being assembled. fantastic! so make sure it works then put it back together.
Now reassemble. Make sure this red part is in place. it is a part of the trigger.
2 of the screws form the 6th step won't go on anymore, but you don't need those suckers anyway.
And there you are. lookin' good!
Verdict
With 20 pumps, this thing will now hit around 60 feet flat using my converted darts. dawhaum! Thats good coming from such a small gun. a gun you don't even need to hold onto.
So if some sucker tries to rush you, give them a face full of web!
