I think the trouble with making Stefans here in Aus is finding foam backing rod, but im sure the peeps on here can help with that

The homemade darts are called stefans. Basicly they are a 2 inch long peice of fbr that has a weight usually a bb in the top and is covered with hot glue.

Anyways the reason i dont mod my guns is cuz i only use em inside because it would be boring outside i just have a 3 2/1

To my understanding (I am only new to this) all you would have to do is take the guide rod out of the gun and then you could fit any dart in there (limited to the size of the inner diameter of the gun) correct me if I'm wrong.
