Ok, so I made my own mega raider, but I didn't use any brass Why? because I like alu and its cheaper. The Design is the same as AJ's, just its got no brass and only Alu in it. So if you want to make your own, use AJ's tutorial and then when it comes to making the breech, you can use this, although its not really all that hard. any way, here's how i did it.

and all credit goes to AJ for designing the Mega Raider, I only made a mere variant enjoy!
Ok so what you need to make the breech is:
- 20mm Conduit coupler
- 16mm Alu
- 20mm conduit that slides Alu inside nicely (i got mine form Bunnings)
- 1/2 Inch Conduit (Could be replaced with 16mm UPVC but i haven't tried)
The ID of all conduit is slightly different, so get some Alu from Bunnings and go fins the 20mm conduit and try and find some that slides the Alu Nicely, that's how i found mine.
And Im pretty sure you couldn't really do this with 15mm PVC instead of conduit because to nest Alu in that you need to use take to fill in the dead space, but if you can well then kudos to you.
Ok so Start off by marking where the clip is going to go, just like AJ did in his writeup and then cut it out so it fits a clip. Simple, Should look like this:
Now we need to make a little pusher, what that does is pushes the dart into the barrel and stops it form going into the tank and failing. What AJ did was he used some 12mm Alu Dremeld to fit into 17/32 and then glued into the tank. Instead I got some 1/2incl Conduit (I don't know if you can still get this, you most likely can, but Ive had this laying around for ages) and 12mm Alu fits into the conduit with a bit of help from hot glue. The piece of Half Inch Conduit I cut was about 4-5 MM thick, very small but it worked and then about 1-1.5cm of 12mm Alu and then pushed it in. here is a drawing to help explain the breech idea. If you have any questions just ask and i'll do my best to answer it.
It should end up looking something like this
and now for the actual barrel itself. I used 34.5cm of Alu Nested into 19.8cm of conduit. This fits my conduit breech that us 14.5cm
Pretty Simple, I also Epoxied a priming handle onto it (made out of 1/2inch conduit, like AJ did, you do need to Dremel the shell a little bit for that and then just mark where the handle needs to be, epoxy it and let it dry and you got your handle!
Here's a picture of the barrel
And whats cool about the Mega Raider, if you put a Longshot scope or something like that, it is actually accurate!
Hope this is understandable, and like I said, if you have any Questions, just ask and I'll do my best to answer it.
