So, pSyk from the Nerf SG forums has been kind enough to offer to send me some of the new Dart Tag range from SG as they were launched there yesterday.

I'm only getting a couple of Speedload's and a sharp shot but if anyone else was dying to get their hands on something than maybe we can both save a little on shipping by combining the order.

Reply with your interest here and I'll see if it's possible and what it would cost.

Depends on the shipping but at a guess for now I'd say about $45-50au

I thought about this - but I realized my cousins could be coming here via Singapore from the Philippines i.e. free shipping if I get them to get 2-3 blasters.

I'd like to keep in touch with this thread though.

I'm actually interested in the little sharp shot - for some reason, I'd rather get that rather than a scout.

They've arrived :). I saw it shoot and it sure packs a punch! I reckon it could hit 30ft pretty easily the sharp shot. Modify it and BAM. Right into it.

I've only got the Sharp Shots and a Q16 so far. 2 SL6's and a Swarmfire on the way still. The shipping is taking ages on this lot for some reason

My sharp shots are hitting 17-18m now. I love em! They feel so nice in your hand and you can actually fire them indoors without leaving dents. My wife still isn't impressed lol.

She'll get over it Finn!! lol My wife really doesn't mind, because bub loves Nerf as well. (It may also be due to the fact that I'll be renovating upstairs at the end of the year).

I never bought a sharp shot, but I've got a swarmfire, Q16, and Sl6 on it's way. Hopefully see 2 of them by the end of the week!!

I think the Q16 looks awesome, but aren't they all reverse plunger except the Swarmfire, which would have the same size plunger tube and stuff as a Nite Finder? Ohh, and the little Sharp Shot. I don't seen the point, really. Being that they're all reverse.

The Swarmfire is a motorised direct plunger. Even though the other's are reverse plunger's, the shell's look pretty cool. Should be good for an integration - maybe air tank's. Only time will tell.

I suppose they'll be good for indoor stuff only. The shells look awesome! You're right there. I'd be interested in a Swarmfire, they look great. I do hate my Stampede, though.. Hmm. Nahh, I won't bother. More keen on my PAS hahaa. I just wish they'd make more direct plunger blasters! If people can make them at home to litterally smash the hell out of other nerf guns, Hasbro should be able to do something worthwhile. I guess they're just going for safety. Or cheapness.

Stampede/swarmfire - roughly same range, and same voltage increase. Stampede has versatility of modular clips, swarmfire can be reloaded on the run, and would be lighter as well.

It will be interesting to see how they match-up.

Hmm, i would love one, but for the price - no thank you.

I saw a Swarmfire at Neumein's house the other night, I'm pretty sure it's a fair bit smaller then the Stampede, which is awesome in my oppinion. Seriously, for rate of fire, clip-fed Barricade. Although, there's something wrong with the wiring in mine, I don't have a soldering iron.. Still, it's semi-auto will eat the full auto of a Stampede. Is there any way to convert a Q16 to direct plunger..? Then it might be worth it.

I have both, with voltage upgrade. Barricade is nice, but my personal preference is still the Stampede. Hell of a lot more range, and nice ROF. It is heavy though, which suits me!!

Haven't got my Q16 yet, so couldn't tell you. It'd probably be simpler to air tank it.

BTW - I only paid $42 for my swarmfire, including shipping.

Fair enough. Yeah, but if you air tank it, it ruins the whole point of the blaster! Sweet RoF (:

Holy crap, can you get me one?! I can afford that, I thought it'd be more like double that..

Edit: yeah, don't have a soldering iron, so I can't upgrade voltage yet ): didn't think of the range difference, thanks for clearing that up for me.

If it helps, swarmfire's are for sale at fishpond for $53, with free shipping...

Range sacrifice for size/mobility would be a fair trade-off. Admittedly, dual-wield barricades is not even close to being as daunting as dual-wield Stampede's

Hahaha, if you find a sweet/stylish way to minimize a Stampede, yes! But two Barricades with 18 round clips? Please..

Check out Bradl3s minimised stampede - very nice. And yeh, dual Stampede's with 35-round clips trumps the Barricades!!! lol
